Regardless of wether or not any of us buys it, we will ALL play it, simply out of curiosity.

As I mentioned on here before, I am a blind gamer. This obviously means that there are a limited number of games we can play. Fortunately, MK is one of them. In fact it's the most sound-rich mk game I've seen. Many of the fatality pain screams could've been greatly improved, but perhaps it's just me. I absolutely can't wait for this game to finally be released. I got a ps3 exclusively for MK VS DC about a week ago. I do have a few questions I'd like to ask you guys though. Feel free to respond privately so as not to clutter this thread.
1. Anyone know if the menues rap? I hate that.
2. How does close kombat work? If you perform it on me, do I need to look at button inputs on the screen, or is it luck? I'm a bit worried about this one for obvious reasons :P
3. Is the fighting found in story mode the same as regular arcade? I sure hope so. Konquest modes on deception and armageddon were impossible for us to play.

Oh, it would have been FREE. My teacher whom I've known forever was going to buy me a ps3 AND the game when it was released for an early graduation present, I graduate Jan 16th. But I turned him down and every one was like you're crazy.

As soon as this game was annoucned the FIRST thing I said was "HOLY SHIT!!!" only in a "HOLY SHIT I LOVE MK AND DC AND THIS GAME WILL BE THE BEST GAME I'VE EVER BOUGHT" I still feel this way, and got a PS3 for it.

You are aware that there are OTHER games you can play on the PS3? It's not just some magical MK Vs DCU machine.

I hope that this game is a bomb that explodes and dump midway in the most deep holes of the netherealm

Hell yeah I'll get this game. I got a Wii only for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I already have a PS3 but one of the reasons i got one is for MK VS DCU. But r u stupid?!?!?! Turning down a free PS3...I'll admit that takes some balls...But it was free...

When someone offers you a PS3 for free, you don't just turn it down. That makes no sense, at all. How can you not understand that?

I'm not going to buy this game for 2 reasons. First one is. I haven't got a next gen and I haven't got the money right now to buy it. It would also probaly be a PS3.

Second reason, I blindly bought a PS2 back then, especially for MKDA (Im not much of a gamer anymore). And the game wasn't worth the money..so weren't the sequels. They weren't the MK's I was waiting for. Thank god they released Midway Treasures with MK2 and 3..and I can't forget PES!. Those games justified my PS2 purchase.

I hated the idea of mk vs dcu at first! even made a death treat to ed boon. I must admit, this is by far my most anticipated mk ever. I have been pulling my hair out waiting for this game. Got my whore in orlando to buy me a ps3 b4 i left just for mkvsdcu. got home met me a new gf, got her to buy me a 1080 p 40 inch tv just for the game. and now i have it hooked up on surround sound. had my mk vs dcu paid off on preorder 4ever. i will definately love playing this game and i will make it to one of the elite players.... and the only video game i play now days is mk! im 23 years old with career...fuck what i look like, a kid? wtf am i saying - mk isnt a game its real life.....

Anyway, as of now, I'm figuring I will not be buying the game.
My dealbreaker characters...with one exception...look like shit, and I either hate the other characters or like them, but not enough to shell out cash. And it just seems counterproductive to say "I hate the way they fucked up my favorite characters! I'm so pissed off! I bought the game anyway, but..."

I realize it won't make much difference, but the creators really don't give a shit unless you fuck with their profit.


If they prove me wrong, I'll glady buy the game. But, the MK team's track record of proving me wrong (in a good way) has been very spotty.
