So far, reviews have been average with most of the complaints going towards the Kreate-a-Fatality system. I think Boon and company frequently visited this website and responded to our frustrations with the previous fatalities. We constantly hammered the production team for not coming up with better ways to kill a person. This Kreate-a-Fatality system is the result. Should we be at fault? Now the majority of us are wishing that we had the old fatality system back. Will Ed Boon respond to critics of the new system? Does he even care?

If people constanly complain about the lack of originality seen recently in the fatalyties its because they depend on others ( Boon ) to entertain themselfs in there miserable lives. Therefore they are pathetic and dont have any immagination whatsoever.

There isn't too many ways you can mix up those kustom fatalities. I think most of us would be happier if the characters had their old fatalities, 2-3 of them and that would had been fine. That Kustom fatality thing seems more for a KAK any way. If you want some thing better than that, just make the old style fatalities easier to do, like in MK:Shaolin Monks.

Actually, I think you should have the option to do either one of them. That would be Kreate a Fatality, or use the one that they all ready had for the characters in the next generation. But, don't blame it on Boon, because really, Boon would do anything we wanted and would put so much into his MK games if it wasn't for fuck face Midway.

I think that the only reason they have this "KAF" system now, is cause they didn't want to come up with 2 Fatalities for 60+ characters. Could be wrong, but that's just what I think. Don't really think it's got anything to do with what we said or didn't say about past fatalities.

The next MK will probably take the CAF system to the next level and give it more depth. I like the system, but it needs to allow for more moves. I imagine each character will have unique ones as well. It's more fun then just tapping in a single button sequence.

In the next game, they'll have more space, fewer characters to work with, and (hopefully) no stupid gimmicks like Motor Kombat wasting their time.

I do think the MK team sometimes visits these forums, but nearly not as much as they should. I've been on MKO for over four years now, and I've never seen or heard any hard evidence that the MK team checks out this place on a regular basis.

It's a pointless gimmick. We could have gotten more kontent, new character models, or unique fatalitie moves if it hadn't been for Motor Kombat wasting the MK Team's time.

I agree-gree grin the motor kombat was a waste of time and memory space. imagine how much more could have been added to KAK if they had not put motor kombat in the game. not to mention the game overall!!

Ed probably does care but he doesn't go the right way about expressing it and of course is held back by Midways lame time restrictions.
What I would like to see in the next MK is a combination of the KAF system with the old style fatalities.
So, characters can have generic moves but on top of that, have moves that are original to them.
Instead of just basic moves in that system though, I'd have some be like combos that flow and make sense, kind of how chain throws "flow" together.
As for side games, I do like the cart game but I don't think it's important to have it in there. I'd be content with just a solid fighting game.
Like if MK's combat was more like a mix of DOA, Tekken and Soul Calibur.
With the old style MK juggling system and the ability to cancel special's in to attacks like in 2D fighting games.
I think Ed does care what people want, because he wants the game to sell. Will the MK team respond? I think so..., in some form. Just like they did with the MKA custom fatality system and game play enhancements.

You have no idea if that is the case or not. For all you or anyone else knows, most of the Motor team may have been outside the main game's team. Knock that "it should have been this way" crap off. It makes you look like a whiner.
