Yeah, actually, with all the excitement about the comic, I forgot to comment that I'm very happy to see John Tobias again. I totally love that he is back in the team in once again involved with MK one way or the other.

It's just a very cool nostalgic feeling.

It makes me very happy seeing John Tobias excited and enthusiastic about having a role to play in the MK world.

I still liked that then that would be fine, I wonder what are the lighting effects that are on them?

The final boss kinda reminds me of blaze from MKA.

LOL! You are right. Waaaaay too much love for me. That's why I wrote some of the things I didn't like, but I guess its OK for me to say them again:

Here:

* I dont love the overall design of "Dark Kahn". I guess I have to wait for more info and previous of course, but he reminds me of Blaze, and at the same time, the design isnt really that distinctive. BUT, th e game isnt out so I'll have to wait.

* I dont love how both Liu Kang and Batman (in this video) seem to play so much like the Armageddon/Deception characters. There are some specific things that look way too similar.

* I dont love how some (very few actually) characters look on the cover.

I tend to dissagree with the gameplay comments a bit. The first thing I noticed was that there is actual jabbing complete with quick recovery frames, very unlike MKA. Just go back and take a look at how both Batman and Liu Kang were jabbing quickly and repeatedly. That is true poking my friend! Try that in MKA and the drastic recovery frames will leave you WIDE open.

The second thing I noticed was vastly improved animation for the attacks. Even though the recovery from the jabbing was quick, the animation was smooth, unlike MKA. What I do agree with is Batman's elbow smash and his Axe Kick looks a lot like MKA's KAK move set. Those were the only two attacks that I've noticed.

The third thing that I noticed was the impact of the hits looks much better. There's a much harder looking imact this time around as opposed to the soft recoil of many of MKA's connected hits. Even the screen shakes during Liu Kang's Bicicle Kick in the video. Just my observations.
