Who's the main villian they show in the comic? Is that the merged Dark Kahn? Looks like he has a skull type face, black outfit, with yellow/orange lightning/fire. Thoughts?

Good find, not convinced by Liu Kang tho, looks too hulky and his animations looks too similar to his last gen ones

Seems Dark Khan is either the source of the "Rage" or simply filled with it. Either way, fighting something that wields concentrated "allow a punch from Batman to hurt Superman" is pretty intimidating.

I actually find Liu Kang to be more impressive than he has been in a while. His fireball looked way better than last gen.

The comic book is the thing that's got me super-mega excited, more then the Liu Kang gameplay video.

I LOVE the drawings and colors!!

I also love the close-shots they gave us of certain main characters at the beginning because they show as the icons and how awesome they look:

* Joker: Who looks wicked,
* Sonya: Who looks beautiful (God I love that hair style!! She's never looked better).
* Liu Kang: Who looks very cool.
* Batman: Who looks cool.
* Rayden: Who looks dangerous.
* Superman: Looks Ok.
* Green Lantern: Looks very cool.
* Jax: Looks different, in a very very good way!
* Shang Tsung: Looks Ok. There is something that doesnt remind me of him though.

I was surprised that they didn't show much of Scorpion and Sub-Zero though, but that isnt bad. There are plenty of characters who disserve some light as well, so it was a good move to show them for the end:

* Subby: Looks cool.
* Wonderwoman: Looks cool.
* Kano: He looks awesome!
* Kitana: The little you can see of her, she looks Asian-Chinese??????? Maybe is just the quality.
* Scorpion: We didnt see much of him in the cover,
* Lex: Looks Ok.
* Catwoman: Didnt see much either, and she is giving us her back.

I also loved how they showed some of the main characters renders in the vid,

And it was sooooooooo nostalgic and cool to see Johnny Cage and Mileena. These two were OBVIOUSLY ment to be in this game, and the only reason they didnt make it was because they had already too many humans for one game (Johnny Cage) and because they could only have 2 females (Mileena).

As for the Liu Kang gameplay, yay! He looks very cool, but he does seem to feel too much like MKA Liu Kang for some bad reason, and Batman is fighting like someone did in MKD/A....for some bad reason as well.

Either way, awesome video and I'm very happy with the things they keep giving us.

Hmm, you are right, I kind of forgot about him because he is really on the far end of the comic.

From what we saw, on those pics, I'm honestly not that excited by his appearance, but then again, that is a very low quality video.

He might end up looking amazing for all we know, but it reminds me of Onaga, in the sense that the whole "Dragon King" story in MKDA made him sound and look soooooo amazing, but his final look in MKD was sort of a disappointment because he didnt look like an innovation of anything.

So far, Dark Kahn looks predictable, but he could look awesome.

I hope he is wicked cool in the game/comic, and not have a boring+predictable set of moves and look.

I hope that monster isn't Dark Kahn. He doesn't bare any resemblance to either Darkseid or Shao Kahn. He looks like some generic Sould Calibur endboss.

I just think look wise it doesn't make much sense. Looks more like one of them merged with Ghost Rider.

At 2:26 in the video there is a split color comic screen. In the middle is Dark Kahn. To the left is Shao Kahn with blue lightning coming from Raiden and up and to the right is Darkseid with yellow light coming from him while Superman looks on. Sweet.

At 2:33 you can see Johnny Cage, Goro, Robin and Aquaman getting hit with yellow electricity.

Wow! Tobias looks the same as he always has after all these years. Just a tad grey like Boon. This comic is already a classic and must have. I love the murky skies back drop in the Wu Shi Academy, and I hope this arena is way more interactive than the one from Deadly Alliance.
