Yes, I know people are praising how turning Liu Kang into a zombie was a great twist to his story, making his character more "interesting." And I know killing him off was a big "shock" that no one expected... My observation has been that most people who say such things didn't like Liu Kang to begin with. My point in my comments are that, as a Liu Kang fan, it's just my opinion that these story elements were not nesessary. Liu Kang was awesome the way he was, and his fans liked his character for that. So on occasion, I just like to post to give my opinion on the matter.

I see your point boomboom, but Liu Kang was already cool. He was awesome! So turning him into a zombie was uncalled for in my opinion. All that did was turn a few haters into fans. But like I have already said, since they're ending it all for this generation in Armageddon, I don't care as much. Don't worry dude, I'm over it, and my intention here is not to whine about it. I'm just making my opinion are the matter known like everyone else. Many of you like the new concept art. I dislike it very much, and shared my two cents.

And yes, I'm aware that Liu Kang's alt. costume will most likely be spirit form. I made mention of being happy about that in other threads before. =)

But yeah, for me, they messed up with Liu Kang in Deadly Alliance, so it doesn't matter to me. At this point, all I can hope for as a Liu Kang fan is an ending that does his character honor.

Well, yeah, other fans liked for a human, but here is what the order of canon boss defeats: 1.Shao Kahn by Liu 2.Shao Kahn by Liu 3.Shao Kahn by Liu 4.Shinnok by Liu 5.Deadly Alliance won 6.Scorpion
Four of those were Liu, so I guess it was making him less boring for others. I do feel bad for Liu fans that don't want him in this form, but hey, Midway messed up other characters, so they messed up him. Some messups were good, some were bad. Liu kang became cooler.

Good, your over it. Alot has been uncalled for by Midway, Motaro a minotaur(two legs), Scorpion the champion of the gods, Sub-zero being a cryomancer(although that was kinda cool), and Liu being a zombie.

I said human form, but it would be okay in spirit form.

...uh...uh...uh...uh... he was messed up n deadly alliance, I was hoping to play with him in 3-d human, but to do him honor... It's armageddon. Each character has barely a chance to make it, let alone do them honor. But hopefully they will. Liu Kang deserves alot of respect for being a champion.
