Meh maybe is the movies, and movies don't count.JC did killed Goro IN the movie(MK movie)

I've been meaning to ask if anyone here contributed to Wikipedia, they seem to have quite a lot of MK entries. As far as Johnny defeating Goro, I'm sure it is just fans mixing game storyline with the MK1 movie plot. Being that MKs overall storyline can be a bit confusing at times, it doesn't really surprise me much.

It also seems that people have been making up or misinterpreting MK storyline pretty much since the first game. I can remember being in like 4th grade when MK2 came out, and I still recall kids saying "Yeah, Reptile, Sub-Zero and Scorpion are brothers!" lol.

I've been meaning to see if I could contribute to or correct any of the MK stuff on Wikipedia, but the stuff I have read (which is very little, mostly a few character entries) seemed to be right, for the most part.

^You know that guide screws up, because as far as I know. Liu Kang is not a descendant of the original Kung Lao and it says "ancestor" when it should say "descendant" but then again Shaolin Monks seems to have retconned the original Kung Lao out of existence.

Above all the stuff you say, you can see Johnny Cage "defeating" (well...just giving the finishing blow) Goro in Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks! LOL!!

Liu Kang defeated Goro in Mortal Kombat, when Shang Tsung's island was falling apart that is a completley different story. I assume Johhny Cage fought Goro after Liu Kang had beaten Goro and Earthrealm was saved. I bet Johnny Cage fought Goro in an enraged state and the fight Johnny Cage knocked Goro off a platform which made Johnny Cage appear to kill him. This is not cannon but I assume this to make sense of it all.

i'd say most ppl get confused because they believe their film and their game, and think the storylines are the same, ARE THEY SHITE!

this is like with most other games, WHEN WILL PEOPLE GET IT IN TO THEIR TINY HUMAN SKULLS THAT TV/FILM AND GAMES DONT FOLLOW THE SAME STORY??????!!!!!! GGGGRRRRRRHHHH.
