Well, Kintaro is just another Shokan warrior (Goro's race) but he is more powerfull and has a different look (tiger).

Kintaro appears as MK2 sub boss, just before Shao Kahn. He only returned in the MK Trilogy PC, Saturn and Playstation version. He is missing since them.

He never get an official bio or ending, so no one know where he came and where he goes.

EDIT: Kintaro is a Cross between Goro and Tony the tiger.

Kintaro is the sucsessor or Goro, after his dissapearence after the original.(Where the heck did he dissapear to for all those games anyway) Shao Kahn promotted him to Goro's former station as General of the armies of Outworld, and his personal Champion. He was killed in MK2, by I think Kung Lao or Liu Kang, and no one has ever spoke of him since. (accept for references to him, made by Shao Kahn soldiers in the conquest mode in MKDA) Hope I helped

I am looking for a good quality pick of the concept art where Kintaro was a 2-armed tiger with a karate gi and a white ponytail. Anyone with this pick please post it in this thread. Seems like it was in a magazine right before MK2 came out. Also in it was a conept art of Baraka with black hair in a bun. Someone mentioned check a site called "Annals of Mortal Kombat" but I can't find it. Help!

Kintaro is due for a comeback. He was more deserving of it than Goro in Deception. Goro got his chance in MK4. Kintaro in full 3d... Oh the possibilities

Yah Kintaro was hella fucking hard to beat in the arcade version of MK2, I had no problem beating him in the sega version of MK2.

He was hard to beat, in the Sega verison unless say your Subzero or Scorpion. And one of the female fighters.
