Tremor in Trilogy?

I read somewhere that Tremor was supposed to be in Trilogy but was replaced and his picture is actually in the intruction booklet. I think this is a load but can anyone confirm it either way.

I heard that that 'tremor' was actually going to be the present day rain. So I see where you're coming from.

They have almost identical storyline except I think one works for Kahn, the other works with Kano or something random.
