the only speed run ive done is for silent hill 3, 49 minutes. there are faster runs available, but mine is the best looking in terms of quality, and it was the first silent hill 3 speed run ever posted. also i did mine on the computer so there is no loading time captured in the run, while the others have done it on ps2 and it has loading time and looks worse.

i finished raiden today for the mkda video, and i found an INSANE new wall combo for him that you will only find in the movie. you will LOVE this combo. stay tuned!!!

its hard to market 24 different videos. much easier to give 1 link. also i want to do an intro and credits, cannot do that with singular videos as its non sequiter.

the video has evolved from a simple combo video to an tribute to the entire game. you will see what i mean when you watch it in a few weeks.

i finished reptile today. 20/24 characters done, moloch not yet finished but im talking with jfcalibur and moloch should be done soon. hopefully we will see some hot moloch on moloch action.

speed runs are always fun. which game are you going to attempt running? probobly not a fighting game, even if you were to beat a fighting game arcade mode quickly it would be slightly repetitive but i support anything you want to try. which game has your interest?

if your looking for great game that has not had a speed run posted yet, i recommend silent hill 4. good game, but not as popular as the others because of its akward storyline and same gameplay elements but its still a great game. not sure if you are into the silent hill series.

there has been a silent hill 4 10 star perfect run posted but not a speed run, just a run getting a perfect ranking with no speed in mind. maybe you could consider it?

i finished cyrax today... he doesnt have as much time as many of the other characters because of obvious reasons.. but i still think i did him justice.

the umk3 vid has been worked on for about 3-4 months, speed runs i like are n64 games/psx/gba, super mario 64, perfect dark, but the speed runs submitted for those games are insane though but any other you have in mind would be worth a try, silent hill games were always good, havent played much of those games over the years

3-4 months, i see very impressive. how long will it be? what codec are you gonna use? whats your resolution? how many fps are you going to use? what audio codec? what program do you use to edit/compress?

as for speed runs, maybe you should try a resident evil game? im sure speed runs have been done for those game already but i dont know what the times are. which genre of game were you looking to try your hand at?

blaze has been finished, juggernaut also sent me some new footage to use for cyrax as well. only mokap and moloch are left.

hopefully jfcalibur will send me his moloch footage soon.

i found 3 new mokap combos today! 2 are new highs for both wall and open air!! awesome!!!

im done with all of the characters, now im gonna go through each clip for each character that is like 2-3 minutes and tweak, see which clips i can take out or redo and if i can add anything. still waiting for jf calibur to send me his moloch videos.

I ́ve tried a a combo with scorpion, and started to add more moves, it got realy great! but its a bit dificult to do (i do it so many times its always on my head). try it:

square - 1
triangle - 2
X - 3
O - 4
Change style - 5(dont know the xbox or gamecub keys)

Scorpion:

Spear, 1125251113352231

then, the opponent will most probably try to atack you, so fall back (my choice) or swap between low atacks and defence (couter atacks)
if tou fall back you have 2 options (only the best) if your opponent follows you just do ( front; back; X ) a signature of scorpion (dont remember the name) if he stays in the same spot, or tries to fall back too, hit him with the hellfire summon ( down; back; Triangle). after this you have the round 90% won

im trying to break down your combo but im afraid that scorpion doesnt have a 1,1,2,cs combo in deadly alliance, are you thinking of a different game? in none of scorpions styles does he have a combo that starts with 1,1.

about the mkda movie, jfcalibur sent in a ton of moloch vids and they look awesome! moloch will be in the video after all! i cant wait to see them all as well. its excellent so far.

ive started to stream together the characters because the videos are finished, shang-sub are streamed together and im going to work on appending the other .avi segments right now.

ive got 8 characters streamed together, just added mavado and im up to 19 minutes.

intro and 23 characters have been streamed together... just need to add moloch and the credits, im at 55:20 runtime right now

hey im very sorry that both of our movies will not be ready at the same time! it would have been fun, a dual release!

i hit 2 snags. jugs didnt like the intro i made, so im trying a different approach... and also i cannot think of a name for it for the life of me... we have been brainstorming over a day and still no luck.

i capped some cool footage today, of the test your sight game on max difficulty, hopefully ill be able to get the diamond breaking too, but we are having difficulty getting that captured, as i cant do it very well and jugs is having some technical problems.

almost finished, just working on the credits. the intro is done.

very, very close to finishing. credits are over half done. all thats left is choosing which music i want in there...

ETA: 2 days.

you would be surprised how long it takes to choose which songs you want to go in a 1 hour segment... also to cut them as well.

ive run into something weird. right now, the video is 600 mb which is too big, i want it to be like 400 mb, but when i try to re-compress to 375, it creates a 510 mb file at the end which is strange. no idea why that is doing that...

Even though all was over and there was nothing more to be discovered, it's not. Nukes and I found some more insane combos like Kung Lao's 108%, Kano's 114%, Quan Chi's 71% etc. A new vid will be released very soon, so stay tuned.
