See this Street Fighter Online game?

I and a few friends would like to make a similar game, only with Mortal Kombat Trilogy. The game will have single-player and online multiplayer with chat rooms, customizable options, and more. Everything will be ripped from the PC version, with a little bit from the N64 version (like the 3-on-3 Kombat, the 24 treasures, and the boss fatalities).

Now what I need to make this game is:
-A good flash game maker
-A utility that lets me hack into the sprites and sounds from the PC version
-A N64 ROM hacker

If you can help me out with this stuff, I might even let you join the development and/or moderating team.

I really would like this game to become a reality, so if you could help me and my friends out, it would be appreciated.

as long as it is not as laggy as SFO is (and believe me...the game is about lag) if you don't want that to happen then don't use shockwave, because it sucks.
I like your idea, but I don't think it is possible to do N64 roms on a browser. or flash.

We won't be emulating the N64 ROM. We're just ripping stuff from it, like Khameleon and the boss fatalities. Oh and good suggestion. I'm using Macromedia Studio 8 for this project, but I'll remember not to use Shockwave.

I've got the Flash game maker under control, but I need programs that will read the game's .dat and .au files. Could anyone help me look for these?

I don't think its possible, but since its about Mortal Kombat Trilogy, I suggest you post this in Ultimatemk.com, in the Myths and Fanlore section, those guys almost know EVERYTHING about UMK3/MkT I am sure they can help since they are atleast still active.

Registered and am waiting for activation.

Meanwhile, I'll look for a PSX hacker, as I also have the PSX version.

Sadly, yes.

I got into their forum, but all they did was pinpoint me to Flash MX, the best tool to use for a game like this.

But now that I think of it, ripping from the PSX version might be easier than ripping from the PC version, because people make these utilities all the time.

I'm waiting for a response from ngemu about a PSX and N64 Hacker.

You should have kept reading beyond the Flash MX part, lol.

PSX version is the same as PC version. The dat files and audio files are identical. So there is no difference in ripping between the two.

Actually, i have a project of a MK game, that i've been developing for quite a few weeks.

I've been exploring Mugen, but it is not exactly what i need.
Perhaps you had the same idea as i did.

Sounds interesting, initially I thought someone was proposing an MKT game (redone of course) for a console.
