I know there are MUGEN games out there... but I'd like NRS to visit the 2D realm again, or at least hire a group of individuals to make 2D games again.

I've fantasized of a game like this for years:

That would be interesting to see for sure but honestly I think NRS thinks 2D fighters like the originals are beneath them, now with these new graphic engines and designers creating the characters. Plus I don't think many people in the MK community would take it seriously.
