Does anyone have this? I'm not saying I need it. I just think it'd be good for a few shits and giggles.

Yeah, arcade list...but if you did do one for MK Gold no matter the weapons, then Kitana and Sektor would be 1 and 2 respectively...even deadlier with good weapons.
You'd have to ask MKL for a real Tier List for this one, but just MK4 arcade Jarek and Scorpion are top 5 easy.

Okay, I'm not talking about MK Gold. I mean MK4.
And I'm pretty sure the weapons aren't interchangeable in the home version of MK4...
unless what was meant by that was being able to pick up someone elses weapon after they dropped it.
Anyway, is there a tier list available? I have to know!

I think they are trying to tell you that in the home version of MK4 if you change the outfit for any character you'll get different weapons for each...

Kongrr overrates Kitana and MKL overrates Jarek! Kitana only has fans going for her. Learn to protect yourself from projectiles and you'll beat her with ease. Agreed about Sektor. Jarek's knife throw is one of the slowest projectiles in the game so that's not really an issue. I've always been able to see his ground pound coming. His upward ball roll and regular ball roll is his most useful tool. But if he's top two, than Johnny Cage has to be. His shadow kick and Upward uppercut are near clones of Jarek's ball roll and upward ball roll. Not to mention his fireballs are far more useful.
Check this out, a MK4 Tier list does exist, and it's official! From "Tips & Tricks Official Mortal Kombat 4 Strategy Guide". It's based on default weapons. It has an elaborate point system for each character, but I aint going to type it. Here's the list.
Top Tier:
Fujin
Tanya
Fujin's massive combo strength and Tanya's Corkscrew Kick place them is the highest ranking of all Mortal Kombat player, they are the most powerful fighters in the game.
2nd Tier:
Sonya
Raiden
Jarek
Quan Chi
Scorpion
Kai
Reptile
Liu Kang
These eight fighters are separated by a total of only three points, giving each one a chance to knock off anyone in the first or second tiers.
3rd Tier:
Sub-Zero
Jax
Noob Saibot
Reiko
Not quite up to par with most of their MK4 counterparts, but with a little patience (and a lot of concentration), victory can be achieved.
Bottom Tier:
Cage
Shinnok
Stay Away from these two unless you want to lose. Cage's best move is his sword....and that's about it.(Note: Shinnoks rating is based on not impersonating another character.)

haha, stay away from tier lists and combos from game magazines for MK4, official my ass...I have a prima strategy guide and holy shit, 90% of everything in there is absolute crap.
Cage bottom, lol. MKL mentioned how you can use HK, HK, Ground Pound on a blocking opponent and it's unescapable. I haven't tried it though. And about Kitana...it's not that easy to avoid 10,000 fans coming at you and the only time throwing a fan isn't safe is right next to your opponent. Too bad they had to mess with Sub-Zero from Revision 2...he ruled, now he sucks.

lol Prima has the worst strategy guides in the world. Have you read their MKT guide? OMG it's worth the purchase for the laugh alone. Their MKG guide sucked (the only guide
Bradygames are the only MK guides I bought. They're always on point and their MKT guide was 100% correct as far as the moves list goes.
I know, I friggin love that thing.
This Tips & Tricks one is the best MK4 guide I've ever seen BTW.

heh, I have the MKT Pocket Kodes book and the only problem I have with it is that they didn't specify that you have to press HP before the Brutality they have listed or they won't work.
Aside from that, BradyGames rulz.

Cage? Bottom?? I have to dissagree. Cage is among the most powerful characters in Mk4. He has enough moves to kick ass. He might be number 2 or 3 in Top tier.
NOT cause Im a fan, but seeing all the moves she has combined in combos, Sonya is definitely Top Tier in this game. I looked at the cheat books of Mk4 and she has the highest combos then the rest of the characters such as:
HP, HP, HK, HK, Cartwheel, LP, Cartwheel, Jumping HK, Air Throw, Leg Grab is a 12 hit combo that ends with 60%.
And I have even tested it with other moves and her combo can reach more. The speed and the multiple moves she has are very powerful and mixed are deadly.
Now, we must admit that Scorpion is not very powerful in this game, he has decent combos but is not a Top Tier, same with Sub. They have to 45% and a little more.
Kitana is actually very good in this game, even though her combos arent BIG, she has speed, and her fans move are very powerful if used well. I believe is the best thing she was given. The steel fans move.
So Ill say:
Top tiers in Mk4 are:
1-Sonya
2-Cage
Mid Tiers: NO ORDER
Kitana
Fujin
Tanya
Sektor
Jarek
Reptile
Mileena
Liu kang
Kung lao
Cyrax
Quan Chi
Rayden
Low Tiers: They are all good. But dont compare nothing with the other ones.
Goro
Jax
Reiko
Scorpion
Sub
Noob

the best mktrilogy guide is the one gamefan put out. It was a huge very detailed book. prima is a joke. They suck at guides and they overprice their books. Then again most fighting game books are just movelists with sample combo lists.
