McFarlane Toys and Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products have officially announced a new collaboration for a Mortal Kombat Klassics action figure line-up. The announcement comes hot on the heels of an industry showcase at the 2025 New York City Toy Fair that previewed the new wave. Take a look at what to expect:

McFarlane Toys have been stewards of the Mortal Kombat license since launching their Mortal Kombat 11 line in 2019, and the latest offerings continue a tradition of highly articulated characters based on the popular video game series.

This time the inspiration is coming from Mortal Kombat II - delivering popular retro designs for Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Liu Kang, Kitana, and Mileena as showcased during the IGN Fan Fest preview [below]. Not pictured is also a Raiden figure displayed at Toy Fair under embargo.

The collection of 7 inch figures is expected to go on sale this summer, available in individual and multi-figure packs. CEO Todd McFarlane states: "“As longtime partners with the talented team behind the Mortal Kombat games, we’re thrilled to once again bring fans a new wave of exciting figures inspired by this legendary video game franchise. What’s especially exciting this time around is the opportunity to revisit some of the all-time classic characters – something Mortal Kombat fans have been asking us to do for years. We’re finally diving even deeper into the rich history of this brand, and we can’t wait to deliver what fans have been craving."
