Funny how different people end up having trouble on completely different parts of the game.

I have always found Motaro very easy. But I have always found Kintaro very hard... I'm sure there's some techniques I could learn, but these days I barely ever fight the CPU anymore.

Oh and for MKII Khan (arcade), with any character, just jump back into the corner, crouch and block. Wait for a shoulder charge, then block and uppercut. Repeat until he dies!

I have come across many "how hard is that boss" topics, that's why I have written that "how to kick their asses with ease" message.

well I think you haven't read what I have put just before, because I already have talked about that, you're just a bit late.

whoops
There are so many ways to beat Kahn in MK2, that I could make a video about it.

For example, you can easily use a standing low kick and repeat it until he,s dead with chipping damage. (works best with Jax) yes, you can beat Kahn by pressing just one button at the right time, without any movement.
If your timing is right you can even stop his shadow attack with that.

You can even roundhousekick him to death but that needs hard timing.
You can use Baraka,s Blade Furry only.
Jax,s Gotcha grab only.
Jump over him kick, jump over him kick (he will block it but you can do it till timeout for win.
Kitana Fan Lift only.
Liu Kang Low fireball spam.
Shang Tsung triple Fireball duell.
Or just a good mixup of moves and specials.

(all on very hard MK2 3.1)

I like wearing Khan down to his last piece of health, then figuring out which move to beat him with. I think I like using Baraka's bitch slap the best (HP up close). Looks really badass when he backhands Khan in the face and then the screen starts flashing.

The hardest bosses follow these games.

MK 1- None
MK 2- Shao Kahn
Mk3/MKT- Motaro
MK4- Goro
MKDA- None
MKD- Onaga

These are the bosses that were hardest for me. Onaga in MKD wasn't that hard, as I found how to do breakers on him.

That could lead to a video dedicated to how terrible the computer AI is, a good tool to convince people that playing the computer is 100% worthless.

well in the sence to making u better.... i would agree that playing the CPU is close to 100percent worthless.... but atleast it's a good thing to get used to doing combo's on with moving targets ;) ... but besides that, playing the CPU aint gonna make u any better against real players.... cause it's obvious playing against CPU is tottally different than playing against real people.

nope the low fireball spam does not work and neither do the fan lift and blade fury. He walks back and throws his spear at you.

Also, Kahn on Rev 1.1 and 1.4 was impossible to beat. That standing kick bullshit dont work. He just annihilates you.

Kintaro is easy with Scorpion though you can get two perfects by just doing spear/ uppercut, spear uppercut, repeat...

Sorry to dissapoint you Juergen.

But here on my Monitor where I now write this message direct on the right side stands my MK II Arcade Machine where I probably beat MK II on very hard around 150 times. REVISION 3.1.

I dont care about older Revisions why should I ?, its old shit that got updated for a good reason.

About the corrections you made lol:
Blade Furry and Fan lift work if you do it at the right timing/point.
When Kahn steps backward and shot his green spear the timing was simply wrong.
Liu Kang Low Fireball spam works too.
But sometimes when he is starting to get close to you, you have to change your position by jumping over him ect.

You can believe me that it works, because I made it more then 20 times with booth characters.
But because I know your wrong I will try to play the older Revision and will beat Kahn there too probably too.

If I have the mood for it, maybe ill make a video about it, peace.

Ok, extra for you I have played the shitty MK II rev 1.4 and beat Shao on my 3rd try with Liu Kang, I dont have found out a pattern but if you constantly doing Liu Low Fireball and mix it up with Air Fireball (use it before Liu touch the ground so that it hit Kahns head, he will then not block it everytime).
If he gets to close jump over him.
Baraka and Kitana pattern really doesnt work, but you know, they make these updates for a reason.
He is indeed harder but far from impossible.
If you wanna have some nearly impossible Bosses play these assholes from King of Fighters, they really suck =).

I maybe will made an Video about beating the CPU in different MK,s different revisions with funny tactics but I am not sure if it,s worth the work.

Writing MK2 FAQ for MKSecrets i found so many tricks even standart systems with non-jumpbackers against A.I.

About Kintaro, the Late Jump Kick strategy works with everyone and will work in 95% (there are 5% chance where Kintaro will decide to block them):

http://mk.ediko.net/archive/movies/mk2sg/kintjk.wmv

About Shao Kahn, Killer Miller list some effective patterns, i'm not sure if this one will work on older revizions, but it works on all platforms:

http://mk.ediko.net/archive/movies/mk2sg/kahnlk.wmv

You can try and his UMK3 "Corner Jab" trap:

I can kind of see how people pop on boards to make frivolous stupid posts, but to go through Soooo much effort to do it seems insane. I mean, why put in the effort when its not funny, not interesting, and not even really insulting anyone, its just a waste of time?

hardest boss for me has been Kintaro in MK2. he is just so cheap. its like just with Reptile i think it was that id always use to beat him when i rarely did. usually id get to him, die, lose my continues, have to start over. or i can actually easily whoop him and every one else in the game (besides Smoke and Jade) useing Kitana and Fan Lift like a cheap bastard. Fan Lift owns Kintaro and Kahn. but thats just so cheap i dont like to do that nor even play with Kitana.

anyways Kintaro is hardest for me.

Shao Kahn in MK2 i can beat without a whole lot problem useing my regulares Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, and Reptile. in MK3/UMK3 i own him with Subby.

Motaro in MK3 i seem to be best against him when useing Sektor (one of my regulares). although they made him harder in UMK3 but still Sektor is against Motaro for me. and to be honest Motaro in UMK3 is hard for me (not hardest). hes just so much faster in UMK3 and does more damage than him in MK3.and uses certain moves more often.

going back now.... in MK1 Goro use to be sooooo hard for me that i only beat him once ever! well that was years ago and when i got MK1 with MKD i figured out how easy he is to beat when useing Sub-Zero. as for Shang Tsung he isnt that hard if u have mastered the jump kick.

never played MK4...

MKDA Moloch is the easiest boss ever! omg! i know its cuz of the flawed fighting engine but OMFG! then Shang Tsung and Quan Chi r just as hard as any one else would be if u fought them last. they really seem more like just another couple of chars to beat b4 getting to the boss fights.

MKD Noob-Smoke doesnt even make sense to have as the sub-boss. they got nothing to do with Onaga in MKD. i know y they put him there as sub-boss tho cuz of the whole 2 vs. 1 concept but still doesnt feel right. seems more like when u fight Shang Tsung in MK2. hes like a sub-sub-boss. then onto the sub-boss and final boss. but in MKD its like sub-sub-boss straight to the boss, Onaga. anyways Noob-Smoke not that hard especially when useing Sub-Zero. Onaga on the other hand.... well hes real easy like Moloch and the same thing that makes Moloch easy is the same thing that makes Onaga easy, the flawed fighting engine.

ok back to MK2 since i forgot about Shang Tsung. i dont know bout u but imo Shang Tsung in MK2 is a boss fight. i mean he actually is hard to fight and u do fight him always b4 Kintaro like he is another sub-boss. and yea he is hard imo. maybe thats cuz i dont know how to beat him except for 1 way wich is a very cheap way that ive stuck too. go with Reptile and Acid Spit over and over and nothing else.

I ave always had a hard time with Shao Kahn and Kintaro from MK 2.

Kintaro was a real bitch, but all you have to do is pick subby, lure his ass into the corner make him do his telelport, freeze him, push him into the corner and HP his ass until the cows come home lol.

Shao Kahn in MK2 i thought was the hardest boss ever so far through out the years. If you picked kitana, you could just lift his as with the fan, then combo him,i have beaten him with this tactic,or scorpion spear his ass just before he charges you, uppercut then jump kicking him a bit.Thats how i have beaten him.

MK3,motaro is tough at first, but once you get the hang of his patterns and know how and when to jump kick along with doing combos up close it's easy.

Kahn i thought was 10X easier in MK 3/UMK3/MKT than in MK 2 IMO.Lots of ways to beat him.

MK 4,shinnok was the easiest boss ever IMO,would whip the hell out of him with Subby and Scorpion all the time.

MK5/MK:DA:easy to beat,Quan-Chi and Tsung are not so hard.Moloch was harder IMO,but all you had to do was combo him, side step, combo ,side step etc,at least for me anyway.

MK6:MK:D:N/S isn't that hard at all.I you are at least an average player, then you should have no problems.

The Dragon King is really annoying with the throwing,if he throws you 2 times in one match, you might as well consider the match conceited.

Otherwise, just combo his ass,and use the Kamidoju to help.
