Kintaro may be a little bigger, he may be threatening with his feline roars and claws, he may even have spiked bracelets, but he simply is not a match for Goro.
Goro has the ability to think for himself, while Kintaro just follows orders.”

I have only one problem with your argument. . .you said “While Kintaro, in the other hand was defeated as soon as he entered the tournament (MK 2), and then remained as Shao Kahn general, never showing up in a tournament until Armageddon” As the night crow I would expect you to know that there has not been a “tournament” scence MK2 (with the exception of the whole Le mei thing” . After that its all just war and battle.
Yeah i know, and even MK2 was a fake tournament created by Shao Kahn himself to trap the Earthrealm warriors.
By the expression "Tournament" i meant "Mortal Kombat event", you know, Earthrealm warriors joining forces to fight other realm threats, like Outworld or in the case of MK4, a fallen elder God.
What i meant was that Kintaro remained away from battles with Earthrealm for a long period of time. However, he could be battling another realms in Shao Kahn's name.
Techincally, only one Mortal Kombat tournament was held since the begining of the game series: MK 1.
MK 2 was a trap in Outworld;
MK 3 / UMK 3/ MKT was an invasion in Earthrealm;
MK 4 was a battle against Shinnok;
MK 5 (DA)was a struggle to defeat the Deadly Alliance before they invade Earthrealm with the undefeatable army of the Dragon king;
MK 6 (D) was again a struggle to stop Onaga from taking control of the realms;
and MK 7 (A) was what many can call "the Final battle". Not much of a tournament.
