It's not often that we get to see Mortal Kombat co-creators Ed Boon and John Tobias together in the public eye, but the legendary development duo will be among the headlining guests at the upcoming Mortal Kombat Reunion Panel! It's being billed as a "once-in-a-lifetime" event and it's in support of the Raiden Science Foundation. Read on for details & how you can get involved:

The Mortal Kombat Reunion Panel will be one of the major attractions at the weekend Cleveland Gaming Classic taking place September 20-22nd at the IX Center. Also attending the panel will be the digitized royalty of Kerri Hoskins (MK3 Sonya Blade) and Sal Divita (MK3 Nightwolf, Cyrax, Sektor & Smoke), with Mortal Kombat Online's own official podcast, The Realm Kast, co-hosting.

Tickets for the Classic start at $25 for Friday Preview Night and Sunday General Admission, with children under age 10 (accompanied by an adult) admitted free. Saturday will set you back $30, or you can go for a $60 3-Day Weekend Pass. You can book at GameCleveland.com, but you may want to wait for more details before deciding: a special Limited Mortal Kombat Experience will be available in addition to the panel -- date & details for all to be announced soon.

Money raised from the experience will go to the Raiden Science Foundation, contributing to life-saving medical research at UMass Chan Medical School, to find treatments for the UBA5 genetic disorder, which has afflicted charity starter Linda and Tommy Pham's 3 year old son, Raiden. Previous fundraisers have included exclusive Mortal Kombat memorabilia, and raised $2,761 at a recent Great Oaks Tavern event beginning the push to $50,000.

The Cleveland Gaming Classic is all about video games and your pass will also gain you unlimited access to 50 arcade games, 50 pinball machines, 50 retro video game consoles, the legendary BattleTech pods, and a LAN PC Party -- no quarters required! So after the MK Reunion Panel you can game to your heart's content!
