The epic saga continues in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath DLC expansion! The freshly released announce trailer reveals Shang Tsung's pivotal role in the next chapter. Go even deeper as he leads his allies behind enemy lines in this Story Mode preview! Watch and beware of extreme spoilers:
Shang Tsung uses sorcerey to adopt the guise of a Shokan warrior as he and his allies carry a coffin out of enemy territory. He's joined by returning DLC fighters Sheeva and Fujin, as well as Nightwolf, when they're discovered by Erron Black, Baraka, and and a Tarkatan horde. Baraka's keen senses quickly see through the deception!
The announce trailer appears to show Shang Tsung resurrecting Sindel, but the exact purpose of the mystery box remains to be revealed. What is certain is that added characters are getting their moment to shine in Mortal Kombat's first Story Mode expansion! The update follows through on plans first discussed in 2015! The epic saga continues in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, as Fire God Liu Kang, the new keeper of time and protector of Earthrealm, must now enlist the help of unlikely allies and familiar foes to forge a new history as the fate of two worlds hang in the balance. Adding to the growing roster of playable fighters, the new expansion features the triumphant return of Fujin, the God of Wind who serves as Earthrealm's protector alongside his brother Raiden, and Sheeva, the four-armed, half-human and half-dragon queen of the ancient Shokan race. RoboCop, the iconic, highly advanced cybernetic police officer will make his first appearance in the franchise, continuing the pedigree of popular Mortal Kombat guest fighters.
Those with Mortal Kombat 11 can pre-order the Aftermath expansion for $39.99, or get it packaged with the Kombat Pack fora combined $49.99. Additional arenas The Dead Pool and Soul Chamber, as well as returning Stage Fatalities and Friendships will be released to all players at no charge.
