PlayStation Brasil Teases New Mortal Kombat 11 Story
The saga continues!

Mortal Kombat 11 presented a blockbuster epic with its time-bending story mode, but the tale may not be over yet. PlayStation Brasil has dropped an unexpected teaser for a Story Mode DLC announcement coming tomorrow. Full story and video:

Raiden and the god powered Liu Kang can be seen standing at Kronika's reality warping hourglass in a teaser clip first posted to Twitter. Update: An English language version was subsequently posted to Twitter by Ed Boon with the hashtag #MoreKombat. A high quality version can also be watched on YouTube [embedded above].

The scene may seem familiar to the end of MK11's story mode -- until a disembodied voice challenging Liu Kang signals the arrival of Shang Tsung and two silhouetted warriors walking through a portal! The sorcerer, voiced by Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa in English, suggests Liu Kang may be on the verge of dooming us all.

Posted in Portuguese, the tweet and video clip teases the next phase of the story and a complete reveal for May 6th. The tagline translates as: "The epic saga continues. Don't miss the revelation May 6."

Ed Boon discussed long term goals to release additional story content to games back in 2015. The possibility of an extended or branching story in Mortal Kombat 11 was first floated via in-game content files labeled "\DLC\StoryName".

An English reveal is expected soon, as are additional characters beyond the now completed DLC Kombat Pack. Do you think the story will go in new and unexpected ways? Share your reactions and speculation in the comments below and go deeper in the Mortal Kombat 11 forum!

Jax Meets Goro in MK Legends Preview Clip
Art Lean said there'd be days like this...

Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge tells the tortured tale of Hanzo Hasashi, but it also revisits the plot of the klassic Mortal Kombat tournament, where Prince Goro is reigning champion. Surprise opponent Jax finds out exactly why that is in the latest animated preview. Watch:

Sonya Blade can only watch in horror as her Special Forces partner Jackson Briggs is locked in an inescapable battle with the eight-foot tall Shokan Champion! Confidence turns to crushing pain when Jax's powerful combo pales compared to the pounding fist of Goro!

Ike Amadi (Injustice 2) provides the voice for Jax, with Jennifer Carpenter (Quarantine) as Sonya. and legendary voice actor Kevin Michael Richardson returning to the role he originated in the 1995 feature film. You may also recognise Jax's voice from Mortal Kombat 11 DLC fighter: Shao Kahn!
