Injustice 2: Shattered Alliances Trailer 2 - Regime
It's more of the same when Superman is let loose in Injustice trailer!

How can the same thing happen to the same guy twice? It's looking like a whole lot of history repeating as Superman and The Regime come to the fore in the latest Injustice 2: Shattered Alliances trailer! Watch it below:

In the words of Cyborg, The Regime is making a comeback -- but not everyone is fighting on the same side. Green Lantern Hal Jordan has purged the impurity of yellow fear (and red rage, apparently) and pledged himself to fight The Regime he once helped!

Green Arrow looks to be back in some capacity, joining recently revealed Doctor Fate, The Flash and Batman in their stand against a Superman who is very different from our own!

The trailer also gives us our first moving impression of villainous speedster: Zoom! The Reverse-Flash is one of three confirmed Premier Skins that will unlock new counterpart characters on the playable roster. The Ultimate Edition also grants access to Powergirl and Green Lantern, John Stewart!

Doctor Fate is one of the DC Universe's earliest Golden Age heroes, having debuted in the pages of More Fun Comics #55 in 1940! Over the decades he's been a member of the Justice Society and Justice League, delivering law and order on a cosmic scale as an agent of Nabu - Lord of Order! His iconic visage appeared in the Hall of Justice arena in Injustice: Gods Among Us. You can bet he'll be having words with Superman and his regime!

There have been many wearers of the Helmet of Fate and Amulet of Anubis. Injustice 2 marks one of the rare opportunities you'll be able to control them, upgrading your occult armor as every battle defines you!

Doctor Fate Brings Order in Injustice 2 Trailer
Order in Injustice 2! Doctor Fate enters the fight in new trailer!

The legendary mystic master of order Doctor Fate has finally made his long awaited arrival in Injustice 2! He's the latest character reveal and you can see what he's all about in the trailer below!

An icon of the Golden Age; Kent Nelson is the wearer of the Helmet of Fate -- a mystic artefact that connects him with the magic of Lord of Order, Nabu. Doctor Fate ranks among the DC Universe's most powerful heroes, wielding his mystic might on the side of the Justice Society and Justice League. He stands opposed to Superman and his Regime in the world of Injustice, able to curtail even the Kryptonian's incredible strength!

Fate's iconic costume made an appearance in the first Injustice [full story], displayed in the background of the Hall of Justice arena. This sadly did not materialize a playable Fate, though he did make appearances in Zatanna's story ending, and the Injustice App.

Thankfully, Injustice 2 is picking up the tab on a whole lot of DC heroes and villains we've been hoping to see since the last game!

The reveal trailer checks off one of the last characters teased by a promotional tee last year. Doctor Fate joins a thrilling roster that also includes: Swamp Thing, Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus, Blue Beetle, Deadshot, Cheetah, Supergirl and the icons of the DC Universe!

Injustice 2 will be available in three flavours for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16th. Are you a Lord of Pre-Order? Register to weigh your fate on the DC Universe Injustice forum!

Watch: Liu Kang Brings Kung Fu to a Gun Fight
Mortal Kombat sketch questions the laws of Mortal Kombat!

Martial arts mysticism and sorcerery may be at the heart of what makes Mortal Kombat great -- but that hasn't stopped fans and filmmakers wondering what it would be like if MK adhered to rules of reality.

Beat Down Boogie takes this tact, poking fun at the age old dilemma of bringing kung fu to a gun fight. Watch the clip embedded below:

Stryker wasn't well loved by arcade era fans, but he's finally got the upper hand in the comedy clip. You might expect Liu Kang to toss a fireball once the street cop surrenders his gun, but there's more ammunition in his arsenal than the Shaolin Monk knows.

It isn't exactly the freshest take on lampooning Mortal Kombat and its obscure tournament rules, but you've got to appreciate the authenticity of their characters. A behind the scenes video shows you how it all came together. Click the link to watch it embedded above.

1:4 Scale Mortal Kombat X Quan Chi Statue
Spotlight: Pop Culture Shock Collectibles !:4 Scale MKX Quan Chi!

It's easy to be a fan of Pop Culture Shock Collectibles and their high-end wares. With Mortal Kombat X, the statue-maker upped their game, recreating the newest designs with new layers of detail! One of their best was undoubtedly Quan Chi - the 1:4 scale statue released in three flavours!

Announced during a busy time in September 2015, Quan Chi was one of the pre-order announcements that shamefully slipped through the cracks of reporting. We nevertheless must admire the quality of work, which you may now find available at good collectibles stores!

The standard Quan Chi statue retails at a recommended $420, but as with all collectible merchandising, rarity may provoke changes in the market. The basic retail version was limited to 500 pieces, with a 250 piece "Dark Curse" variant offering alternate arms wielding the severed head of Moloch, and an attachable "Mind Game" sword. Both come in "Warlock" green.

Our favourite version is probably the ultra-rare PCS exclusive Sorcerer edition. Standing at 16", it features the same fatality and intro inspired alternate arms as the Dark Curse version. It simply switches things up, reflecting the purple palette of this in-game fighting style! Take a closer look by enlarging images featured above!

Many of Quan Chi's greatest allies and enemies have been carved in stone! The line includes: Klassic Raiden, Klassic Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Baraka, Shao Kahn, Kotal Kahn and more!
