Injustice 2: Everything You Need To Know Trailer
Injustice 2 trailer highlights all the important modes and features!

Injustice 2 is just a week away from its global release for Playstation 4 and Xbox One! We know most of the characters, the basic premise, and even the first wave of DLC characters! The latest trailer hones in on all the things you'll want to know about the Injustice experience! Watch:

Fans will recognize many equivalencies between features of Injustice 2 and NetherRealm Studios' previous fighting game: Mortal Kombat X. There are plenty of new features to take in, though, as the heroes and villains of the Injustice DC Comics universe make the first native leap to the current console generation.

Story Mode takes players back to the divided world of Injustice: Gods Among Us, where hatreds between Superman and Batman continue, and new forces emerge. The story will progress as players make life and death decisions with a replenished roster of new and returning characters, including boss Brainiac and the villains of The Society.

Fans know the all new Gear System will allow them to unlock armor and costume attire to customize the appearance and stats of their favourite fighters. These unlocks will be achieved through a variety of modes, including Multiverse Mode -- an adaptation of The Living Towers of Mortal Kombat X. Online challenge modes will also adapt the Invasion Mode to unite players in guilds against regular threats.

All new Injustice Mobile Go will adapt the console game in increasingly elaborate ways, taking Story Mode and new gameplay into the streets wherever you go! Playing mobile challenges will even unlock Gear content for the console version!

If you've pre-ordered you'll receive Darkseid as a downloadable timed exclusive character. Depending on the edition you purchase, you'll also gain access to a variety of features, including Premier Skins that bring Powergirl, Reverse-Flash and John Stewart (Green Lantern) into the fight!

Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 1 DLC Trailer Reveals Sub-Zero & More
Sub-Zero, Red Hood and Starfire are the first DLC in Injustice 2!

Injustice 2 won't officially be available until Tuesday, May 16th -- but fans can already anticipate post-release DLC with the reveal of the first three "Fighter Pack" characters! Watch the trailer unveiling below:

As widely speculated: Sub-Zero will represent the home team of Mortal Kombat as the first confirmed crossover character in Injustice 2. He sports a brand new design that adapts the classic garb of a Lin Kuei ice warrior, taking the blue theme to new extremes with colored hood and embellished armor!

Sub-Zero joins a first wave of characters that should please fans of The Titans: Starfire and Red Hood making their playable Injustice debut to popular request.

Red Hood is Jason Todd: The second Robin who was murdered by Joker during a quest to find his true mother. Resurrected around twenty years later, he took the Red Hood identity to began a new path as a gun toting vigilante using brutal tactics to challenge Batman and his notions of justice. The edgy, cult favourite character has long been at the top of request lists, and dominated in a Robins fan poll by Ed Boon. Starfire, a powerful Tamaran Princess, beat Black Manta and Constantine in another fan vote.

These aren't the only characters hinted at by the new trailer - and Mortal Kombat fans won't want to put all their hopes in Sub-Zero alone! A certain iconic thunder god seems to figure prominently into six silhouettes hinting at future Fighter Packs! Click the image below to enlarge.

Raiden stands out among the group on the right, while Black Manta looks set to go from Atlantis transition character -- to fully blown villain! Two choices that have us very excited about what's to come! Don't forget Darkseid -- the pre-order incentive who'll also be there to download when the game is released!

Joker Has a Great Comeback in Injustice 2
The Joker returns in Injustice 2!

Injustice: Gods Among Us began when Superman thrust his hand through Joker's chest -- but why let facts get in the way of a funny story? The Clown Prince of Crime returns for the sequel in the latest character reveal trailer. Watch:

Joker's death played a catalytic role in defining the world of Injustice: his death - the turning point that began Superman's tyrannical rule as leader of The Regime. Despite the significance of his demise, nobdoy really seemed to mind the iconic villain's appearance on the playable roster of the first game. So why so serious now?...

There are some interesting differences in the appearance of Injustice 2's Joker, whose fashion, face and jawline deviate distinctly from the iconic ghastly grin. Could these be clues to a new man behind the maniac? Intro dialogue with Robin (Damian Wayne) flirt with the possibility that former Boy Wonder Jason Todd may've had a villainous turn, much as he did in 2001 Frank Miller sequel, The Dark Knight Strikes Again.

There's also the same 'Get Out of Murder' card played by the first game, which relied on a handy dandy parallel universe to supply iconic characters, living or dead. It might seem an easy way out, but fans of Mortal Kombat know death is usually a temporary, minor inconvenience in NetherRealm Studios games. It's all just a big joke!

This Joker is every bit as deadly as the one you know and love. With an arsenal of noxious gas bombs, guns, knives, joy buzzer, and a general sunny disposition -- Joker is ready to pummel, maim and electrocute any who stand against him! With hair by Ledger, fashion by Leto, and a crowbar right out of A Death In The Family -- there's something for everybody when Injustice 2 arrives May 16th!

Darkseid Dominates Injustice 2 in Gameplay Trailer
Darkseid dominates the battlefield in DLC trailer preview!

You may remember him as one-half of the final boss in Mortal Kombat versus DC Universe. He's the preeminent source of evil throughout the cosmos, and he's leaving the throne room of Apokolips to dominate Injustice 2! Watch:

Darkseid is an awesomely powerful New God, evil ruler the firey hellscape that is Apokolips. His stoney face gazes upon a world he dominates with disdain, ever in search of ultimate power and the total suppression of all things good.

The heroes of Earth have frequently been a thorn in the New Gods' (dark) side, prompting him to launch many campaigns against Superman and the Justice League. There are good New Gods such as Orion and Big Barda, but none of them are yet present in Injustice 2! Lucky for you Darkseid is the first downloadable content character -- meaning he's yours to control if you've pre-ordered the game before it's release: May 16th!

The pre-order incentive is similar to the inclusion of Goro as playable bonus character in Mortal Kombat X, a timed exclusive available for purchase at a later date. Injustice 2 will have a similar pattern of DLC, offering additional characters after release. including at least one Mortal Kombat guest!
