Come on, don't punish the people who made this game because of some stupid legal issues, try importing it from the US, UK, NZ, or some other English speaking country that has it. The Blu Rays tend to be region free in terms of games.

But I do agree that this is a bunch of crap, and that they shouldn't be treating your gaming population with such disrespect.

Reminds me off all the anime 4Kids dubbed that never get uncut DVD releases, despite high demand...bunchacrap...

This whole 18+ thing should have been passed long ago. All they're doing is delaying you from getting a great game.

With the confirmation of Kabal and Quan Chi, we now have 26 characters confirmed. I'm still disappointed that we haven't heard anything about SHEEVA, RAIN, or SMOKE. I rather have any of them 3 in it instead of Quan Chi.

I need to have my Sheeva.

I could do without Sheeva, rain and smoke are all good though. and I am super happy Quan is in.

Oh, wow... I can't believe such a developed country still uses these kind of bans. Are they afraid that adults can't decide for themselves? If so, can the Australian government make any good decisions, since basically they're all adults themselves?

But as said: if the game's not region locked, you can just import it.

And this is where the real ugly truth about DLC pops up. It's not so much about shaking the customers for extra shinies, it's more about leaving out content that isn't going to be available to everyone.

"Hey, let's leave a few characters out so we can sell them later as DLC. We know every fan is going to buy them anyway."

As an Aussie, I will be using every measure to import, starting with playasia (google it) and if not getting someone else to get it in for me.

I hope there are a few of you who will do the same.

I would be happy to purchace copies of the game and mail it to my fellow MKO aussies, long as they pay for the game and postage. I'm sure anyone here would be glad to help them out too.

no it doesnt. as i said, smoke was 'confirmed' in the voice leaks. you may not consider that strong enough confirmation, but bear this mind. every character who was in the voice leaks has been released, and all the ones for whom we've seen the intro (noob, sektor, sub-zero) had the same intro as the one in the leaks. i'd call that confirmation enough, in all honesty. you can keep pretending to yourself its not, but it is.

Wow, I feel like I didn’t visited this site for a week with all the info here. I feel really bad for Australian fans out there. But I think you can still import the game. The PS3 version is region free and if you create an US/EU PSN account, then I think you can still play online and download DLC and Patches.

As for the fatality leaks.. some sound really awesome. I really hope they are not going to adjust tem after this though.
