Too bad the special features suck. Some behind the scenes would have been nice. I remember the MKA DVD had lots of bonus stuff so this is pretty lame.

So I just realized that they're both rated PG-13 for, get this, "Non-stop martial arts action"...lol. Not sure about you guys, but this is the first time I've seen a movie rating description like that.

So I just want the first movie, because that '2nd' movie never happened

Wouldn't have made more sense to provide a different character for both of the movies like I dont know:
Kitana - MK
Jade - MKA

Also wow. I can now pause MKA whenever some one attractive is on and stare. IN HD!

I hate how NRS ignores the female ninja MKII costumes. Far superior to the MK3 versions imo.

Why would they want to re-release Annihilation?

I thought they wanted to forget that piece of shit was ever made.

I think people hate on Annihilation way too much. The only part of that film I really didn't care for was the ending with the Animalities. I think the whole Shao Kahn/Raiden being brothers could have been left out. I dunno...it may not have been the best film ever but I found it entertaining. I'm just hoping the blu-rays look significantly better than previous releases. I mean, Annihilation did have some eye popping colors and a great soundtrack.

What about the 3rd movie? why don't they put an exclusive with the writer of the next (aka 3rd film) movie on the 1st film? I could really give a shit about Annihilattion!

I still don't understand why they're advertising these Blu-Rays like it's the first time MK is being released on Blu-Ray, considering that I OWN both movies in Blu-Ray format.
I mean, okay, so now that WB owns MK, and probably owns the rights to the movies as well, they're releasing them in these "New editions" with the bonus DLC, and the trailers and whatnot, but that still doesn't change the fact that this is NOT the first time MK is available on Blu-Ray.

And I agree they should have put a different character's costume in each movie. That is the only way I would ever consider buying something so terrible.

I am way more excited about Annihilation. Neither movie is a work of art but Annihilation is so aware of how shitty it is, it's just so much fun - I love it.
