When considering the MK characters as a whole (powers, story and looks etc.) Khrome would fit in more if the character was a female ninja, with everything mentioned in this thread like the abilities and white/achromatic apparel.

I'm hushed on the entire subject, on The Hinpar khromium Creature of the Midnight (don't even like identifying the name of the realm). As discreet as I am about this, I value the science of his/her mercurystream, metallization, polymimetic alloy and magnetic fields, powers. I'm cautious when referring to the character(s) as he or she, too. It's something else like intersex, maybe. As the saying goes in the NightRealms of Outworld, " This night will never end".

With NRS, 'Khrome' = At present, currently nameless. I'm being brave and taking a total shot in the dark, here.

But very slight chance the name may stick.

I haven't heard it being official, if the character was split in to (male) 'Chrome' and (female) 'Khrome'. Changing the name to something other than this would be worse than Sindel's MK11 retcon, as 'Khrome' has already had that mild publicity. It's never been clear to me.

A select few have called him (it) Jism. The name Khrome is adequate though.
