I think that these endings may turn out to be true:

I hate damn what-if endings. Why not make all of them so they are true?

Lui Kang- He defeats the Dragon King? What are you talking about, Liu Kang never faced Onaga only liberated his comrades with the aid of Er-mac. And then fought his decrepit body and got fused back together.

Sindel- longegst ending nd quite logical. However I do not wish to come true. People are only dancing it around becouse of edenians and that Reptile MAY revert back to his original form-if he is alive of course.

Jade- Tanya dies. An episode, and quite possible if you ask me. Nothing contradicts this.

Kenshi- Hotarus ambush. I never though that Hot Taru can be such a zealot. Quite stupid if you ask me. If you're a war hero, then you supposedly fought in many battles. How in the hell could he make such a mistake? If he made an ambush, then he must have seen Kenshi with Sub-Zero. It's not like he just -oh look there's Subs, let's kill him, hoppla /sliced/-around in the bushes. Illogical, and only a little bit subjective about Hotaru.

Sub-Zero- now we know from where did he learn about the Dragon king. Or perhaps something greater is afoot? MK7 will tell us this.

Raiden- He kills Shujinko. Nothing contradicts this and it has staying power. However it would be a waste. Not t mention that if Shujinko is the next-gen. Liu Kang, then why would they kill him off that easily?

Havik- Good untill MKD showed up with Goro and Sao Kahn. It got better and worse. Better becouse now we have two Kahns, and worse becouse Haviks main plotline and climax are ruined a little bit of it's former originali-ty.

Ermac- true I suppose, but let it have some consequences. Not to mention he is the only one who sensed the lurking danger. I think MK7 may be capitalised on that.

Ashrah- whole thing. Pretty much a sidestory, and possible. If Ashrah defeats Noob then he hasno real point to continue in MK7. I think this is one of the endings that will only partially happen.

Tanya- the whole thing is another climax for the "I betray everyone effect".
Give it up for MK's most idiotic plotline bearer. I can't believe they brought her back just for this. Tanya IMO is completely ruined as a character now.

Shujinko- His name means "Protagonist". Of course it is the most possib-le end. It brings the ultimate resolve for the peak of the storyline.

Hotaru- other than that to show his potential in killing both Kenshi and Sub-Zero, Hotarus storyline cannot be completely true. If something is true fro it, then perhaps the line where he captures Sub-Zero, but not the execution.
I think Kenshi also lives on. But nothing extraordinary or solidly staying.

Goro- I have to say possible, since Goros and the Shokans invasion may
takes time slightly after the Onaga conflict. Kitana hasn't evolved a bit since UMK3, and to say the truth, only the fanboyism keeps her going in the seri-es. Evolve her goddamit. I not, let her die, I don't want to see a blue Tanya!

Li Mei- as expected but quite funny. Nothing irredeemable, but I found it especially good, how Li Mei's character got some depth. From village warrior to dragon queen sos suddenly. What kind of compact shall it have on her psyche?

Scorpion- there were a reason they made him suffer in MKDA. Now he is one of the protagonists. Sorry, but it is very well possible. And perhaps Onaga gets defeated by motre than several warriors. If they rewrite the story like this, then Scorpion is very well capable of tearing the DK into shreds.

Shao Kahn: nothing overly special, just shows us that Kahnie was Onagas former advisor nd he tricks the beast to death again.

Tanya fucking rules. Sorreh, just wanted to add.

Frankly, I hope they go the MK:DA route and we find out most the endings didn't happen.

Jade- This could happen.
Personally I hope it doesn't. Not just because I like Tanya and I want her feud with Jade to be developed. But because if Jade's going to kill Tanya, I'd rather it be in a fight and not Jade just throwing Tarkatan piss at Tanya and scurrying off like a squirrel.
But who knows, maybe Tanya will return all scarred and messed up.

Kenshi- Could happen.
But I think if Hotaru's going to be killed in this game though, it'll be by Dairou.

Scorpion- Could partially happen.
I don't know if Scorpion will be the one to finish off Onaga, but I think the Elder Gods' champ bit it true.

Mileena- This seems likely.
If she really did kill Baraka great. If they're not killing Baraka, they have an open door.

Baraka- Possible.
Personally I hope it doesn't. Not saying Baraka should die, but I think it'll be a shame to off Mileena now that she's finally started to evolve.

Sub-Zero- Happens.
Nothing really happened here. I see no reason why it wouldn't happen.

Sindel- Unlikley.
Even though it opens they door for Reptile to return, I don't forsee Sindel saving the day. It'd be nice though.

Havik- Unlikely.
Now that we've learned the real Shao Kahn is alive, this ending seems moot. Maybe Havik will get the heart anyway and resurrect someone else.

Raiden- Good chance.
Shujinko was not well-received and this establishes Raiden's "any means necessary" approach rather well.

Li Mei- Partially happen.
She may turn on everyone, but I don't see Onaga uniting the realms.

Kabal- Maybe.
Not sure. I could see Havik returning and I don't see Kabal running around resurrecting everybody. But who knows?

Ermac- Sadly, this seems likely.
I hope not though. I will be so pissed that the Earth heroes were killed, turned evil, and broken free like nothing happened. SOOOOOOOOO pissed.

Nightwolf- I doubt it.
Like Sindel, I don't see Nightwolf saving the day.

Bo' Rai Cho- Happen.
Ties with other endings, and nothing conclusive happens. I see no reason why it wouldn't happen.

Noob-Smoke- Partially happen.
I think Noob is the original Sub-Zero. I think he's looking to take over the Netherealm and build a big army. But I don't think he kills Sub-Zero. I think that was just thrown in for shock.

Tanya- Not going to happen.
I can imagine how they came up with this: "What should we have Tanya do?"......"I don't know."........"uhhhhh....have her conquer the universe."
I think they should've stuck with the Jade feud.

Shujinko- Sadly, might happen.
I despise Shujinko, but sadly he does seem to be the new "hero." And he probably should be the one to defeat Onaga since his story ties into Onaga's.
But hopefully afterward, Raiden will put him down.

Hotaru- Doubt it.
They're not going to kill off Sub-Zero. And they do, it won't be because of Hotaru.

Ashrah- Partially true.
Ashrah will probably escape the Netherealm, but I don't think Noob's going to die.

Dairou- Maybe true.
All he does is kill Hotaru. So I guess it depends on what they do with Hotaru.

Kobra- Unlikely.
I don't think the Black Dragon kills all the heroes after it's over.

Darrius- Happen.
No reason it won't.

Kira- Happen.
Doesn't really contradict anything and no one seems to like Kobra anyway.

Liu Kang- Sadly, this may happen.
Hope not. I don't mind Liu Kang back, but not exactly as he was before.

Shao Kahn- Might happen.
Hope not though. I'd rather Kahn stay playable for a while. At least for those who don't have Gamecube.

Goro- Partially happen.
I guess he'll join Kahn and they'll do shit. But I doubt Kitana's going to die. If she does, it'll be waste, since her story now has the best chance to evolve.

Just to think about it: Hotaru executing Sub-Zero....If this gets true, the next
day I'll be shot by all the MK fanatics around here.

If that does happen chrome, I promise you that.

I think parts of some endings will happen.

I think:

-Noob will turn out to be original Sub Zero.
-Smoke will malfunction
-Ashrah will escape the Netherrealm but loose her sword
-Darrius is killed by Hotaru
-Havik ressurects the Clone of Kahn
-Jade Kills Tanya
-Ermac and Liu Kang's spirit will free Kung Lao, Sonya, Jax and Kung Lao.
-The will all travel to Dragon Kings chambers, where the weaken him.
-Jade will hold off Kitana, while Sindel chants a spell releasing Onaga's soul.
-Nightwolf will then bind Onaga's soul to the Netherrealm.
-Either Mileena or Barak will die

Thats all I think will really happen. Other thigns might or might not.

Well I think that Scorpion finishing Onaga may happen after Shujinko slays his physical form.

-Shujinko kills Onaga in battle
-Havik tears out the Dragon Kings heart
-What remained of Onaga (spiritually) tranfers itself to the Nexus as a last offensive with anumber of tarkatas. Scorpion wipes them away.
-Nightwolf binds the soul to the Netherrealm

I would not want the Sindel ending to come true. Sindel hasn't got any protagonist charisma, the ending was there to only show reptile deceased body, and Kitana getting happy again with the royal family. How original.

Even though it's cliche Shujinko should pay back to Onaga for the wasted lifetime.

Tell me one fighting game with non "what if" endings...

Well, my own predictions:

-Scorpion: Not Happened.
-Sub-Zero: Happened, Sub-Zero kills the Tarkata Militia.
-Bo' Rai Cho, Mileena & Baraka: Happened in this order.
-Ashrah: Happened Partially. She fights Noob, but Smoke helps him and both defeated Ashrah, but she can escape alive.
-Havik & Kabal: I'm not sure about these endings...
-Ermac: Happened.
-Shujinko & Nightwolf: Both Happened in this order.
-Dairou: Not Happened.
-Kabal & Kira: Both Happened in this order.
-Darrius: Happened.
-Jade: Happened, but Tanya managed to survive.
-Kenshi: Happened, he kills Hotaru.
-Hotaru: Not Happened.
-Li Mei: Probably Partially Happened, but she doesn't stop Shujinko.
-Sindel: Not Happened.
-Tanya: Not Happened.
-Raiden: Not Happened.
-Liu Kang: Happened.
-Noob - Smoke: Partially Happened, they never faced Sub-Zero, but Noob Saibot (Elder Sub-Zero) start to create a cyber-demon army.
-Goro & Shao Kahn: Neither Happened.

And MKDA with 12 endings happened is, until MK7, the MK Game with most happened endings...

the most logical explanation is that shujinko won.
liu and ermac help free the earth realm warriors
havik reunites lius body and soul
havik revives the fake kahn
raiden kills shujinko
sub-zero and kenshi make it alive and defeat hotaru
jade tricks tanya and kills her
jade and sindel free endenia
who the hell knows what the blackdragn is up to
and noob and smoke are on a conquest in hell

but if onaga makes it out alive and runs away, could face scorpion and get his ass beat

but another way to look at is
kahn regains power
goro back on there side
deathmatch between mileena and baraka(could go either way)
earth is at piece till they run in with kahn again


either way its most likely that earthrealm would win which would lead to chaos brought between liu and raiden showdown with kahn and outworld and all being controlled by the one being and whoever wins will face the one being yada yada yada




okay imdone theroizeing,just let midway and vogel write the story and then recannonize it by the next game and change what happens.

In Liu Kang's ending, it's Raiden who "reunites" Liu's Body & Soul.

Here's what I think happened:

Main Ending 1:

Mileena sends out Bo' Rai Cho and his troops. She sends for Baraka, telling him to meet her at the Beetle Lair. Instead he sends a fake. Mileena kills the fake. Baraka thinks Mileena gave her troops magic to defeat them. He sends a clone in his place when Mileena calls for him. Thinking she really killed Baraka, Mileena is caught off guard when he ambushes her. Baraka kills Mileena. The "magic" Mileena gives her troops is actually the spirit Liu Kang gives Bo' Rai Cho and his troops. They beat the Tarkata, and Baraka gets mad at Mileena. Tanya gives the DK what he needs to combine the Kamidogu, but doesn't kill him. Jade then kills Tanya. Li Mei turns on the good guys, siding with Onaga. Shujinko tries to kill Onaga, but only succeeds in defeating him and smashing the Kamidogu. Raiden then kills Shujinko for his ignorance. Scorpion, still after the DK, catches him and kills him in battle. Havik then gets Onaga's heart and revives Kahn's clone. Kabal then kills him from behind.

Main Ending 2:

Sindel and Jade find Onaga's real body in attempt to stop him. Onaga appears and tries to stop them. Sindel ends up stabbing the heart in the DK's real heart. His soul flies out and goes to the Netherrealm. Nightwolf, who is in the Netherrealm, binds Onaga's soul to hell.

Alternate Ending 1:

Sub-Zero and Kenshi is being tracked by Hotaru. Hotaru is being tracked by Dairou. Dairou fatally injueres Hotaru. He thinks he killed the Seidan guardmen and leaves. With the last bit of life still in him, Hotaru tries killing Sub-Zero, but Kenshi slices him in half. Sub-Zero hunts down Noob-Smoke in the Netherrealm. They end up ripping him apart and revealing who Noob truly is. Ashrah is not able to save Sub-Zero, but purifies her soul. (OR) Ashrah gets there in time and helps Sub-Zero defeat Noob and Smoke.

Alternate Ending 2:

Kobra and Kira are forced to fight for a place in the BD. Kira kills Kobra (woo!) and is the new BD member. Kabal kills Havik and gets the DK's heart.

Alternate Ending 3:

Darrius takes over Seido.

i havent seen it in awhile but like i said,your probaly right. but it would make sense that havik would do it too. i also have the worst vision on earth,practically blind,iwouldn't be bale to tell

Noob Saibot tries to kill Sub-Zero, but since Smoke malfunctioned in the neatherealm, that proves he may still have good in him, i predict Smoke will save Sub-Zero.

AS for the others, i think they'll keep Shujinko around, not as a main character, but just as a fighter, his main roll is done, he brought about the Dragon Kings rule through Deception, now that the story is done with, he has no real reason to play a vital part in the storyline.

Scorpion will turn out to be the champion of the Elder Gods.

Lui Kang will return to his normal body, and will be Earthrealms chosen Warrior.

Sindel will play a vital part in the downfall of the Dragon King.

Havik will bring Shao Khan back and be his new advisor.

Hotaru will be killed by Kenshi.

I think that Bo Rai Cho's, Mileena's, Baraka's, Sub-Zero's endings and Kenshi's story all occurred one after the other.

1) 1st half of Bo Rai Cho's ending - Bo Rai Cho learns about Liu Kang's spirit who encourages him to continue fighting.
2) 1st half of Mileena's ending - Bo Rai Cho and Li Mei approach "Princess Kitana" who commands her troops to defeat Baraka and his forces.
3) 2nd half of Bo Rai Cho's ending - After receiving the command from "Princess Kitana", Bo Rai Cho and Li Mei set off, leading a victorious battle.
4) 1st half of Baraka's ending - Baraka hears word about his troops losing. Blaming Mileena, he sends an impostor when he learns that Mileena wishes to see him and sends the rest of his troops to kill Sub-Zero after learning of his presence nearby.
5) 2nd half of Mileena's ending - Mileena, having control over the most powerful army meets her 'lover' and betrays him. Mileena will rule...
6) 2nd half of Baraka's ending - ...until she learns too late that the man she thought she killed was an impostor. Baraka tears her apart and his whereabouts, unknown.
7) Sub-Zero's ending - Sub-Zero meets up with some of Baraka's troops and manages to defeat them
8) Kenshi's story - Kenshi meets up with a 'worn-out from battle' Sub-Zero
