That isn't really an excuse to make them team up though. They are enemies, not teammates.

Despite Stryker being...'Stryker', Don't forget, he was a 'Chosen Warrior'...

So, to you, while it may have seemed very unlikely for Stryker to pull off the feats he did, The cop apparently isn't an ordinary ol' 'pig'...

That isn't really an excuse to make them team up though. They are enemies, not teammates.


The entire point of pairing people up for this tourney is to match characters who have strong connections with each other. They don't have to be friends to be paired up. Sonya could have just as easily been paired with Kano and it would've made sense.

That is pretty air tight. However, its entirely possibly they could team up at some point. You don't have to be buddy buddy to be partners, just have a common goal or enemy.

But these pairing are inspired by MK 2011 storyline, so the Kitana/Mileena pairing is definitely NOT obvious.

Then may as well just do random pairings, since any character could tem up with any other in the future, anything can happen...

It would be dependent on the time and which game. I mean it could make Kabal and Kano partners or Kabal and Stryker. ( only using those three for reference because Kabal was on both sides of the law at two different times)
