I agree with you. Guy has done 1000000X more for this game and community than any other player or fan.

His rant at NRS and his crappy commentary stint after losing a tourney did not help though, but I certainly do not expect everyone to be perfect all the time.

Always wondered the same question. People have their reasons but I'm sure people are tired of hearing him as the top player in Mortal Kombat but I don't mind hearing his commentary, it's rather informative and on pace.

Exactly. It did not help at all, but it is understanding if you think about it.. Seriously though, people on Youtube saying "Oh man if I came down there I would trash Brady". But.... He doesn't have any vids on his channel and he's just talking out his ass.

He did alot for the DOA community too, I watched his Bradycast videos and amazingly everyone hated him then. Like I don't understand it.

I don't follow the tourney scene that closely, but from what I hear *I listened to Tom Brady's Wake-Up SRK about MK9* he seems to be an alright guy. He is helping out with bringing a positive light to MK and convincing smug-asses that MK is tournament-worthy.

Idk, but probably because the guy was talking shit because he beat Tom online. That's most likely the reason, but Tom fucking hates online. I can already tell you that, but I'm pretty sure Brady would fuck this "Bladez" offline. I mean, the servers on mk9 are pure trash. I disconnect most of the games I play, and the lag is just unbearable sometimes.

The point isnt that he could beat him which he probably could offline. the point is he was acting like a 5 year old because he lost.

See I've seen/heard Tom be pretty humble in response to flaming comments on interviews and live streams. So... I dunno...it goes both ways. I mean he's obviously prone to emotionally charged comments and what not but... that doesn't really matter to me all that much.

Love him or hate him he's obviously passionate about the game, knowledgeable about high level gameplay, and supports a high level tourney relevance in MK9. That's all I need to know about the dude right there.

Is "stuff they write on the internet" a working measure of someone's character? I mean, I'm not saying forum posts don't indicate a person's personality, but you can't say:

"Person X talked trash on the internet. Conclusion: Person X is arrogant."

That's a stretch. He could have been having a bad day. He could have some history with the guy we're not aware of. Hell, it's the internet, so hypothetically, that might not even be Tom Brady.

Guessing this is directed at me. I personally have nothin against the guy im Just saying its stuff like that which probably make people be haters toward him. But as to the other thing you said it is Tom Brady hes a regular on the MKU boards. But yeah i personally have nothin against him and I was just pointing out a possible reason for some of the hate.

People who are the best are the same people others wish to see taken down a peg. Just look at how many people cheered when the "perfect" Daigo lost at EVO, with a perfect for his opponent even.

Tom Brady is a damn good player. Is he a bit cocky? Yeah. But he's cocky for a REASON. If you were good, you'd be cocky too, and deservedly so.

It's simply a matter of being outspoken. He can be patient and endure the flames and ridicule of a hundred idiots, but when he responds and loses his cool ONCE, people rally against him.

Again, that's just human nature. Happens for every tournament player that gets a tad cocky and confident and starts being outspoken.
