What the Hell do They Say???

Hello
Anyone else noticed that whenever an MK character launches an attack they
yell out this gibberish?
I'm beginning to doubt they say anything coherent at all!
For exampe;
I was playing MK: T, and when Kung Lao does the dive thing, it sounds like he's saying "Diggy-a-diggy!"

Or in MK:D, when Sub-Zero does the cold shoulder, he says something like
"hworan-gahng-giri!!!"

Tanya does this thing where it sounds like she says "Honda Pee!"

And Sub-Zero in MKvsDC sounds like "ye-yi-yaw!" when he does the ice nugget!

Does anyone have any clue what those things mean? Or if they're even real words at all? Or what language is it in? I've always wondered...

It's not a real language. They're just gibberish that's supposed to sound like magic words.

I don't think there's a point really. It's probably like how many people would go "Hi-ya" while doing Karate moves.

Although, I'm surprised you haven't said anything about Raiden and his "Johnny's got a car," jibberish saying.

In the MK4 strategy guide I remember them divulging what the kombatants were actually saying as they performed special moves.

Tanya's was pretty funny. I should go dig that guide out. I have no clue where it is.

I remember Shinnok saying "tocar piano!" in MK4, which translated to Portuguese, means "playing piano!".

lol I was playing MK: Deception today as Raiden and when he does Shocking Touch he says "Who-ya-ra-amigo-beo yo pah!" wow

In mk2 when liu kang does his throw he sounds like he's saying "what was the point?"
Also in mk2 when kung lao throws his opppnent he sounds like he's saying "why were'nt you wit mom?"
In mk4 when raiden does his torpedo move it sounds like he's saying "drop it like its hot"
Its funny yo, cus i swear i was gonna do a thread like dis. good stuff.

I recognize most of these. Also I've recognized these:

1) Tanya says, "sat-to-lisa" when she does her bone breaker neck twist thing with her legs. (MK4/MKG)

2) Kitana screams saying, "aaouu-hu-hu-wo-huuu". (MK2 and MKG)
