What Race Is Sektor?

I was just wondering what race is Sektor? Is he Chinese, Caucasian, Japanese or African American like Cyrax? I'm leaning towards Japanese because in his bio for MK: Tournament Edition he fled to Japan but what do you think?

They never revealed Sektor's race in the games. Defender of the Realm is non-canon and irrelevant.

They never said he was Caucasian. I guess when they did decide what race he was, the figured they may as well go for divirsity.

Defenders of the Realm was never canon. The way their human selves look in the cartoon has nothing to do with the game versions.
Anyway, the MK9 voice acting casting sheet that got leaked said Sektor's race is "Asian, country of origin unknown".

Thanks for the info guys, cause the reason I asked is that I was talking to my brother and we both use to watch the cartoon so we started talking about Sektor and Cyrax, so again thank you guys .

He's probably Japanese, as his plot heavily revolves around taking it over now. Most characters are Caucasian or East Asian in appearance (The Sub Zeros being both, thus Amerasian) so this would be likely.

The Lin Kuei is Chinese. Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot are both half-Chinese half-American. It's most likely that he's Chinese. But that's no guarantee. After all Cyrax is black - the Lin Kuei may be more international now. Or, the Cyrax could just be of African descent but living in China.

The Lin Kuei stock their ranks by kidnapping children who are born with superpowers. I would imagine they don't give a shit about borders, they'll take anyone from anywhere that displays abilities.
