My initial thought, and it's mostly likely to be true, is that Hulk would win this fight hands down. But the recent gamepro scans revealed something I find very interesting. It makes me rethink kintaro's potential and hence this thread.

Similar to the mk's of old, Kintaro has a small bio in which he is listed as being over 2600lb. His leaked bio states he earned the position as Kahn's bodyguard after defeating multiple centaur foes (no easy task for anyone). After reading his weight, getting over the initial shock, and taking into account all the other data, Kintaro is more of a beast than I ever thought!

Being that big and strong, who could stand against him? Bringing hulk into the mku, could Kintaro stand a chance?

There's a very, very small blurb about him in the GamePro DLC article, and there's a bio for him in the demo leak.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Kintaro=Like Goro and Sheeva, Kintaro is of the four-armed Shokan race. Unlike his aristocratic comrades, however, he is of lower-class Tigrar lineage. As is customary when recruiting Shokan and Centaur into Shao Kahn's service, one of each race must face each other in bloody kombat. Kintaro killed his opponent and, in an unprecedented act of bravado, roared for more Centaur blood. Centaurs leapt furiously into the ring to their demise. This savagery led Shao Kahn to appoint Kintaro his personal bodyguard.

I thought the same thing before I posted this, but where else does it fit? all the kintaro data that I'm referring to is MK9 specific.

The Hulk would destroy anything in a hand-to-hand fight.

Even Solid Snake.

@asmodeus
No. This could go in the Mortal Kombat Series General section. This has no relevance to MK9; this is a versus thread.

Hulk has cracked a planet in half with a punch, and has lifted a 150 billion ton mountain.

Good day, sir.

This is why I said Hulk would win, BUT when ever you compare different universes with different rules, concessions must be made.

* Hulk weights about 1500lb and is like 7' tall.

* Kintaro is more than 2600lb and is probably the same height, if not taller.

* Both can jump crazy high aaaaaaaaaannd that's where the similarities stop...

Bringing hulk into the MKU, you'd have to tone him down a bit to fit into that universe. Taking Kintaro into the MU, you'd have to amp him up a bit as you're taking a fantasy/realistic type character in to a straight up comic book environment. In other words, you have to do some tweaking on both sides to get this fight to work (see any DCU/Marvel crossover).

Anyway, I too guess hulk would win for the simple fact that we can track his fighting history better...we know his feats.

What about Kintaro vs the Thing?

First of all I don't know how there are spoilers, but whatever.

Secondly Hulk would kick his ass in 2 seconds. He can lift 100 tons without strain in his default setting. Plus the madder he gets the stronger he gets. His strength is potentially endless.

Hulk would smash him in one second. Imagine being run over by a tank, in the most literal sense. That's about the amount of strength behind one of the Hulk's punches.

considering the Hulk being capable of holding 250 000 000 tonnes of mountain this is not a question.

What about Thing from fantastic four? He's another monster character, but he's much weaker than the Hulk. Maybe still too strong, but in some of his weaker showings maybe not...

What do we even know of Kintaro's strength?
