Would you want an MK Compilation?
Hey, if Midway ever made an MK compilation, would you buy? If so what games could you see being included? If they were to have done one for current-gen systems I'd say that they could've been able to do MK1-MK4, but for next-gen who knows how many they'd be able to include.

What games and what extras could you see on there?

Games:
Mortal Kombat 1
Mortal Kombat 2
Mortal Kombat 3
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (Possible secret game)
Mortal Kombat Trilogy (Another possible one)
Mortal Kombat 4
Mortal Kombat Gold (Possible Secret game)

if next gen, they might be able to include MK:DA and MK:D at least, but maybe not MK:A.

For extras... I'd like to see another History of Mortal Kombat, along with character bios of all the kombatants to have ever appeared in the series and maybe some artwork of the characters as a bonus. That'd be nice.

Or at least what they did with Tekken 5 and put all the classics 1-4 on the disc.

Heck yes, I've had this idea for a while actually.
Its like this, it would be called Mortal Kombat Klassic Kollection (and would hope that no one would take offence to the abreviated M"KKK".

Anyway, when its all finalized, I would have to say the list of games would be like this, assuming the creators fix ALL the bugs and problems rather than just porting the games really quick:

MK1(arcade)

MK2(arcade)

MK3(arcade)
After you played and beat this game on the highest tower, then it would unlock...UMK3.

Ultimate MK3(arcade)
After you beat this, unlocking all characters and beating the highest tower, you would get

MK Trilogy(PC version, but with BOTH Khameleon and Chameleon in it)

MK4(arcade, but with the FMV endings rather than the crappy N64 ones)
After you beat this on the highest tower and all that, you would get...MK Gold.

MK Gold(dreamcast, of course)

MK:Mythologies Sub-Zero(Playstation)

For all the games, since most are arcade version, there would also be a Save option input into the game. This would save on round 1 of whichever person you were fighting. Plus, any unlocked characters, such as Smoke for MK3, would stay unlocked.

All games would be online playable as well.

Yeah an MK compilation would rule.

All the games before MK4 (including the ones that aren't beat em ups)

Also, it could have longer interviews/bonus features/all the artwork etc from mk:DA and MK:D.

Also new costumes for all in a certain mode.

There is too much they could do.

Seriously though id just be happy with all the games in one package.

Good idea. My first thought when I read the original post was...umm, they're doing that already with MK:Armageddon. But now I see what you're saying. I'd definitely like a compilation that had all of the MK games on it. Any extras would be welcome also. Maybe we're able to unlock Ermac, Reptile, Goro and Shang Tsung as playable characters in MK1, perhaps Smoke, Jade, Noob, Kintaro, Shao Khan and Blaze could be playable in MK2 and so on. Perhaps we finally find out what the Ultimate Kombat Kode for MK Trilogy gets us.

I'd like to see a bonus video where Ed Boon tells the fans EVERY secret to EVERY MK game. I mean anything that we know and everything that we don't know. I figure that alot of these games are pretty old now, and MK:A basically marks the end of an era. Why not give us all the info on these past games? Give us the real story on the rumors from each game. Crimson and Creature? Superunlockables? Oh, and again, that blasted kombat kode.

Good thread!
