Okay, I'll bite. Yes, as I never played the original.

I would. But I think I was one of the only people who liked MKMSZ.

Depends.
I would love to play a remake as long as it was an actual remake the way, say, the Gamecube version of RE1 was, where they keep the plot the same, they just make it look prettier and spruce up the gameplay some.
I no longer have any confidence in the current writers to retell the parts of their story that were good the first time though, so if they go dicking around with the plot, no sale.

Absolutely not. I have absolutely no interest in any MK RPGs.

Pretty much this.
If they don't fuck around with the story and actually improve on the original,I'd pre-order half of the entire fucking shipment.

I definitely would. I loved MKM:SZ. Though I'm more interested in new titles rather than remakes. Remakes are so trendy right now and 99% completely unnecessary.

Nah, I wouldnt.
I still think it has a solid story, but I can't get into it. I look foward to boss fights in adventure games...and fighting the likes of "Earth god" and "Fire god" just doesnt cut it for me.

I loved Shaolin Monks. It was great to play that with a friend. I was really bummed when I found out it was not backwards compatible with the Xbox360 like Deception was.
It was cool when they used the same engine for the Konquest mode on Armageddon, though it was not very expansive.

It would have to be very, very, very improved.

I actually liked the game (It was the first game I got for my PS), and I would buy a remake.

I liked the game tbh. I haven't played it in a long time, but I really remember enjoying it when I was younger. That may just be due to my infatuation with Sub-Zero, though, as I remember the controls were a bit frustrating.
But yes, I would buy it, just as I have purchased every other MK game.

A remake with better controls and no live action cut scenes? yes.

Yes. I think it would be cool. Add in Scorpion's story as well to make the game longer and I'd be even more excited.

Truth be told, the original is actually my favorite MK game. So yes, I'd buy an improved version. As long as it meant still having live action cinematics.
They should re-release it in HD. I wish...
