No I wouldn't but I doubt there would be any exclusive content for the Xbox since Warner Bros. favors Sony.

NRS approached MS and wanted to do a guest character for the Xbox version of MK9. However, for whatever reason MS turned down the offer.

WB have been favoring Sony since Batman Arkham Asylum.
Playstation version of WB games always getting better exclusives.

If a Killer Instinct character does make it in, it better be Spinal.

If there's going to be a xbone exclusive KI guest character, then I won't mind Jago.

I've got a bone to pick with Fulgore since that Death Battle, so I'd like the opportunity to beat him up in MK, hehe.

Also, my cousin is a massive Fulgore fan, so he'd be excited as if he was included. He'd fit in well alongside all the other high tech characters in MK.

Sony pays more for that content though. If MS started shelling out more money for better exclusive content WB would play ball.

As for the OP, I wouldn't mind. Matter of fact I expect it.

I'd rather a KI character than Master Chief, Cortana or Marcus Fenix.

I'd be more annoyed at not having access to said KI character(s), since I don't own an X-Bone, and don't want to buy one, either.

I also think a KI guest character could prove...underwhelming. There are just too many characters to choose from. A full-blown crossover would be preferable, even though it'd be exclusive to the X-Bone. Damn, if only Rare had become a third party company, instead.

if we did end up getting one KI character, I'm only sure of who I wouldn't want it to be: Jago (and Shadow Jago, whether he'd be a separate character or an alt). Good god, he would be so obvious and boring. Anyone else would be fine.

If the character was Fulgore, no not really. If it was any other KI character then meh.

Why? What would be wrong with anyone else besides Jago or Shadow Jago? I'm honestly just curious. Fulgore would be among the best choices imo, just so you know. In my case, I'm opposed to Jago's inclusion because he'd be the most obvious choice, and quite frankly, I'm not sure his design or moves would differ significantly enough from most MK characters.

Another thing I wonder. if the KI guest(s) was (were) any of the bosses like Eyedol, would anyone be fine with said boss ending up as a sub-boss? That could work if the game has more than one sub-boss, like MKT and MK9 did. Of course it'd be a waste to leave a guest character unplayable, so the KI boss(es), as well as the MK ones, would have to be unlockable, or downloadable (I'd prefer the former).

I never really played Killer Instinct all that much when it was popular in the old days, but when I had the chance, I'd pick Fulgore every time. No other character interested me in the series. I can see the appeal to the other characters though, I'm not saying they're all boring or anything. I just think Fulgore is awesome. Maybe it's because I never really grew up with Killer Instinct. The only fighting games I had around the house were Mortal Kombat and Tekken.

Tekken is the only fighting game I grew up with. Killer Instinct never striked my fancy. Til this day, I've never played it.

I would be PISSED... Only because I love Killer Instinct.... but own a Playstation

How would Spinal work tho, Like fatalities, If Kano is in the game for example how would Kano's heart rip work on Spinal or X-ray moves? Bones inside of Bones lol

Would be kinda wired seeing Kano's hand go into Spinal's chest to see it disappear when we can clearly see behind Spinal's ribs lol By the way people I'm only using Kano as an example & in no shape or form confirming he is in the game.

What KI characters w\ould have the best chance at getting picked is the better question?

I'm thinking Spinal should get a special death animation where he crumbles into pieces upon defeat. That, or Kano just rips out nothing like he did in the SNES version of MK1, and Spinal drops dead anyway.

Johnny shouldn't be able to low blow him, for obvious reasons, but then again it'd be hilarious if Spinal grabbed his non-existent balls.

At least with Johnny it would make sense since the females in MK9 grab there non existing balls

I like KI. I like MK... Hell no I don't want KI character in MK. I also don't want exclusive characters. EVO and the FGC are getting bigger, so hopefully dev's realize how asinine the concept of exclusive characters are.

He could rip out a green like orb. I like to call it, Soul.
X-Rays could still work. It's just zooming to Spinal's bones and breaking it. :P

I don't like guest characters, but I would accept Orchid.
