Given we havent seen the stage brutalities but have an idea on what theyll look like. I still think id rather have stage fatalities. They're a big part of MK's history n id hate to see them replaced.

Why not both? Wasn't there an article in a magazine around the time Kung Lao got revealed that said the Jungle had a stage fatality involving alligators/crocodiles?

I never thought about stage brutalitys. But now you mentioned i cant stop imagining stage brutalitys. combo the fuk out your opponent true a wall. That could be very brutal if executed well.

^This

I don't know why not everyone has fully grasped this, but Brutalities in MKX are essentially just fatalities with a different set of circumstances required to execute them.

They still just boil down to "kill the other guy creatively" ... in this case "Kill the other guy creatively using the stage"

This is why I actually would have preferred Friendships or Animalities.

Isnt this like asking " whats the difference between a fatality and a brutality?

i see were you coming from but ii think the different is you combo someone the death true a wall or whatever. And a stage fatality is just a fatality interacting with the surounding.

Would be very cool if you have to activate the brutality while your opponent is still alive and near a death spot. Make the combo really hard so its not the easyest thing to do and it feels like you really smash someone the death true whatever. Maybe adding qte at the end of the brutality to add the icing on the cake

I never heard of a stage brutality, but based on your description I'll 100% go with stage fatalities.

If a stage brutality is like a stage fatality but maybe with the interactables, then it would be interesting. Orderwise the fataltiy

Well, there are multiple brutalities per character so perhaps there are multiple stage brutalities per stage?

Just a thought. The Kombat Kast said it was a natural extension of stage fatalities, right? Personally, I'd like that.

wait a minute...didn't they kinda give us a hint at a stage brutality with the MKX announcement trailer? at the end, scorpion pins subzero's head to a tree.

based on what you all have been saying with a brutality ending with background interaction, could that one be an example?

Also, in which kombat kast did they say that it was a natural extension of a stage fatality? I missed that part....

No shit... I actually just went back and watched that first trailer and your absurdly right Scorpion rips Sub's head off and flings it at a tree in the snow forest board and then pins it with his sword..

Maybe it's like Brutalities in which the characters use special moves to finish them... But finishing them into the board... So I'm thinking it will be like that with different moves and characters weapons finishing them off... If so then we have at least 2 fatalities, multiple brutalities and maybe multiple stage brutalities to finish off your opponent that would blow me away!!

That's what I was thinking. Anyway, I would love to see that croc in the jungle, those beasts in the marketplace, the wolf in the snow forrest, or things like this be used as finishers.
