A very bad idea. Not only would it be a flop with the current apprehension of the Midway team, but some many characters hurt each others unique-ness. 40 at best, thats the proper size of a roster, and each game need newfaces in it's roster.

Besides Triogy had one of the most broken gameplay of the MK games, at least in the 2D times.

I was not talking about their costumes. I was talking about how each of them looses their replay value if there are too many characters.

plus with the 3-d verison, i don't think there will be enough space on disks to allow each character to be fully playable.
They can fit it

especially on next gen.

It would be a bad idea to do that though.

The fighters would loose originality game play wise also.

You would end up with a LOT of copy and paste of moves. Just look at the last games, they don't even have that many moves and they are already doing copy and paste.

They also wouldn’t have enough time to fix all the potential problems, not only with the main fight engine, but with individual character moves as well.

A lot more broken stuff than in MKD.

They should stick to a workable number like around 20 or less so they aren’t over whelmed.

And 20 is a lot to make, but it’s the current standard more or less.
