the new game might use a generic one for each DLC character with each main roster character having a generic MK9 styled line for use against DLC characters. stuff like "Show me what you can do" or "You will serve me in the Netherrealm" that aren't character specific.

Predator might just repeat what the other character said or say "Ugly Mother f*****"

I can see them doing specific ones for Tanya I think she has been considered long ago, they might have used one of the female in cast to do the voice for her.

I'm sure they will. Tanya has always been my favorite. Her story is so evil. I'm wondering if she had something to do with jade not being resurrected. They hate each other. Imagine her vs kitana and what they would say? Can't wait. So excited to hear what they would say.

I doubt it. And I doubt they'll get alternate costumes either.

Prrrrretty sure they will, Injustice's DLC characters had their own voices. Mortal Kombat is their baby and they'll take care of it.

Yep. They seemed pretty hollow in MK 2011 because they really seemed like they had nothing going on.

And now Skarlet is given crap and regarded as a bland character because of it. Interesting seeing how she nor any of the other characters had any personality.

I also hope so, it's bad enough looking at Tanya and Tremor's superb designs to know that they likely won't be part of the story, and probably won't get alts. So do at least give them intros.

I don't see why people think Jason and the Predator couldn't be given intros. The Predator could taunt Kitana with Jade's voice for example, and I think it should play Shao Kahn's taunts on it's recorder during some intros, with voice samples of Steve Ritchie. I can imagine the Predator saying "Get over here!" to Scorpion.

I'd be disappointed if Kotal Kahn didn't bring up the fate of the Aztec in the AVP movies before fighting the Predator.

As for Jason's intros, two words: body language. His eyes alone could show us his reactions.

It's pretty much required now. It would be silly if it went like this-

Mileena 'Tanya....prepare for death!'

Tanya "..........."

Mileena 'Very well! We shall see!"

That's how I'd imagine intros for Half-Life's Gordon Freeman or the Doom Guy might be like, actually.

But yes, I wouldn't be surprised if the DLC got generic MK9-like intros where they don't actually interact with their opponents. Even worse, they might not get any intros whatsoever.

I seem to remember in a stream or interview they said DLC characters would be full characters in the sense that they would have three variations and intro's and endings like everyone else, but alternates hadn't been decided.

I'll keep my eye out for it and post it when I come across it again.

Tanya and Tremor will be generic. As long as they actually get a full development( 3 variations etc.) Would love skins too, but that prob with the Ultimate Edition.

Also, they thing that really bothered me the most about MK9 DLC characters is that they were excluded in the Krypt and didn't have Bios/Endings that you could go back and watch. I know you could in the Komplete Edition, but I never bought it, because I already owned it all.

Predator is interesting, I think they might just make it make the signature clicking sounds they make, but they could possibly do the recording thing where he uses sound clips of other people talking lol

Injustice DLC character had their own actos AND other actors put voices for interactions with them IIRC.

If NRS doesn't give DLC the full treatment, I swear I will never buy anymore DLC. They won't serve me a half-ass job like they did in MK9.

Yeah they should definitely get intros for Tanya and Tremor. The guests can stay mute since they're both mute anyway.

DLC characters in MK9 didn't have intros, but Injustice DLC characters did have dialogue in every way as the regular characters.

Yeah injustice DLC had their own voices as well as special dialogue with specific characters during clashes

I want to see interactions with the horror movie guys just to see if he recognizes them being an actor himself.

If true, I'm now a bit worried about The Predator and Jason.

They will, but you'll have to pay an extra $50 DLC to hear them.

Hopefully there will be actual interactions where characters mention each other by name and their motives etc... like the main game and not just generic "I'll kill you", "Give me your best shot" type conversations.
