Who would want to see a crossover with Blazblue?
Think about it. The astral finishes and fatalities are roughly equivalent and who wouldn't want to see a 3D Ragna or anime Scorpion? Besides, MK2011 would have been the perfect fighting game it if only had air blocking.
Also, Scorpion and Ragna have the same VA which is mega-win.

Lots and lots and a whole hell of a lot more... no.
We have a story going on now with this game, VS games do nothing but pit characters against other series because fans want to see it. I don't think I've ever wanted to see anyone from the two series together for any reason lol
Also with MK, it is all about fatalities and we learned already with DC that no one wants their franchise characters killed even for just a fight. Unless the game they are being put against has deaths in it too on the same scale, they shouldn't ever do a VS again.

Both games have very different art, style, and story... I love both series but they don't belong with each other...

Blazblue's storyline is all about timelines, psuedo quantum physics, and the story is more tightly related with the characters.
MK is all about the tournaments and invasions and how the characters take advantage of them to sastify their agendas and personal goals.
Astral finish may "kill" the opponent, but none of the characters in BB die gruesome deaths. The only playable character to die is Nu, and she gets reincarnated with her puppet bodies half the time anyways.
I love both series for their different philosophies. Arc Works and Netherrealm studios would be incompitable with each other from the start. The franchises just don't mesh for a fighting crossover.
