Well, with the rumors of A Mad Fire God Liu Kang or even a Blood God Havik/ Reiko, Who would be The One that could Beat some of those Guys??
Some of the Newbies?? Because for what i see, they have for shure a great relevance in the story, but they haven ́t reach the level of the top guys.
So watch Cassie or Takeda Beat them would be kinda out of place even when this game is all about passing the torch.
So Will them just trap the boss into the amulet like they did with Shinnok??
will the older gods Grant them the necesary strengh to beat them??
If Liu Kang isn,t the Boss, I could see him killing Raiden, achieving Godlike powers and Going One on one with a blood God, and then becoming a Tyrant maybe preparing the plot for MK11.
But if thats not the Case, Who you think that will be the next chossen one to beat The Big Bad Guy??

I keep getting the feeling it's either Raiden and Liu putting aside their differences and you fight the final boss twice with them, or you go at the final boss with each of the next-gen protags.

Until they are all resurrected as young versions again for MK11!!!!

At least the first time I play the game. Then, probably who ever does in the story mode. Then, everyone else. Erron Black and Takeda might do it before I touch story mode as well.
Who do I think will do it in story mode? I'd say either Kotal or Cassie. Cassie, if it's Shinnok for the obvious focus on her and her team in the story trailer, as well as the history Shinnok will have with her parents. Kotal, if it's anyone else. He just seems like the champion type and having an Outworlder be the winner of Mortal Kombat would be refreshing.

Who knows if there will be only one fighter to beat the final boss. For all we know there may be a cut-scene involving several characters taking down the boss. If I had to guess one character it'd be Raiden by default because he has a lot to atone for. Whatever happens, I hope the ending leaves a great cliffhanger again like in MK9.

I think Raiden was being sarcastic, I found it funny, lol.
But anyway, chapter 1 in MK9 started with Johnny Cage and so does chapter 1 in MKX.
So my guess is that they'll also let Raiden kick this boss's ass, however I have a feeling it'll be Liu Kang.

Group effort between the new kids, with Cassie being the person who delivers the final blow or w.e they do to defeat the big bad.

You know what, I think you're right. Was just used to Raiden's seriousness. So does this mean we're getting a touch of DOTR Raiden? Awesome! We could use some Raiden humor to spice up his character a bit.

I ́m not shure but, i think that back in the E3 Ed said that this time Raiden wouldn ́t be the one to beat the Boss.
First i was going to say Johnny Cage but if he is the Chapper One protagonist I think the Final spotlight will be for somebody else. Takeda and Cassie seem to be the ones with most chances but I don ́t see them as top warrios just Now.

Shinnok maybe
If Liu Kang isn't the boss, I'd say him. He was the one that beat the crap out of most big bosses and given he's ascending into godhood if his tower costume is any indication, he should be strong enough to deal with any threat.
If Liu is the boss, then probably Raiden. If not Raiden, other candidates would be Johnny, Cassie or Scorpion&Sub-Zero (though I think those 2 will close their arc a bit earlier killing Quan Chi, but not soon enough to prevent the comming of the blood god).

First though, ya gotta ask
WHO'S THE BOSS?
Tony, Angela, or Mona?
My vote is Samantha or Johnathon, though

I was also thinking in that! MK Deadly Alience was the first MK where Heroes failed. If this is a More Dark MK i think that the story could take this Bad guys win path. Because if the Boss is some Kind of God (Blood or fire) I dont see anyone powerfull enought to beat somebody like that.

I think it's going to take a combined effort.
So it's really anybody's game at this point. Liu is confirmed to still be around, and he's always been a force to be reckoned with on behalf of the "good guys". So I believe he'll be a factor.

Cassie. It'll definately be one of the young 'uns, and she's my pick. Since it's pointed out so often that she loves her dear ol' Daddy, I'll bet the boss kills Johnny while he's protecting her, only for her to kill the boss, later. If that happens, it's a damn shame they're going the obvious route, too.
