I don't know about boss but I definately want her back in MK7. Thanks to how they greatly made her in Deception, she's become one of my favorites.

I like the idea of an all powerfull woman as boss in future MK.

But I think that Tanya ending do not happened. Most probably, Tanya was killed by the Tarkata as it says in Jade ending.

Maybe a sub-boss. It be nice to have a female boss for once.

I hope you don't really espect such a thing to happen, as it goes I'd be happy to have a female boss as long as she's better than Shynnok, but DK will stay(with Shao Khan as a sub-boss I hope) and Tanya doesn't have enough mystery around her to have such an important role.

Tanya? Boss? Bah, I laugh at that idea. But, seeing as she does have that One Kamidogu, you should fight her then she kicks your ass during the fight and a cutscene takes place where your character pretends to join forces with her then 2 months later after disappearing, your character goes back to her fortress and steals the One Kamidogu, which is then stolen by some other dude, who is robbed by some chick, who is killed. I dunno. That's just a random thing I JUST came up with. Awful, I know.

Well, a female boss would definitely be something different. However, I don't really like this idea much, namely because I don't like Tanya due to various reasons in which I don't feel like getting into.

Her ending was my least favorite in MKD as it seemed rather predictable. She is very much like Kano in that she backstabs and joins different people so that she can survive and hope to attain great power. If her ending was to happen, I think that all other beings would cease to exist and there wouldn't be much else for the storyline to continue on.

No. Although I like Tanya and want to see her return, I don't see her as a boss.

A female boss or sub-boss would be cool though.

I would never want to see Tanya as a sub-boss or boss in any MK game. She's not worth it IMO, her whole story and such is horrible.

I wouldn't mind seeing a different female boss though. It would be cool for a change.

If we are going to have a female boss, I think it should be a more monster like character, like Nitara or Sheeva.

A female boss would be a good twist . But , like you said , someone more sort of , fearsome . A cool idea would be Goro's mother ! Out to kill Noob Saibot !

I don't want to see Tanya in another MK again, unless they do another "all characters in" like MKT. Her time is long gone, and her weak comeback achieved nothing.

But, I would love to see a female end boss in MK. Not quite sure in what form, but I think an evil sorceress, like Shang Tsung in MK1, let's have an end boss who does not rely on brute force and size like most MK bosses have. She should also be really cunning and sadistic, and not reduced to dumb monster like Onaga became. Something a bit closer to how Sindel was in MK3/MKT, but genuinely evil, and a leader like Shao Kahn. I think this is best for an all new character.

Tanya might be a sub-boss only and should appear in a new, bigger female size...But not her again as one of the select screen characters, she's lame and ugly.

I think a monster Sheeva or Nitara fits more than her in being a sub-boss.

I think a female boss would be cool, but like someone else said, a sorceress would be the best. Like a female Shang Tsung or something they haven't done yet. But definitely NOT Tanya. She sucks.

Tanya is one of my favorites. i just don't understand what everyone's beef is with her. ( Is it because everyone is still bitter by the fact that Kitana was replaced with Tanya in MK4?) Oh well. Everyone has their own favorites and not all of them can be in every MK game.

It's not that she replaced Kitana, perhaps partly. When it was announced she was replacing Kitana, and people seen her, there was a lot of hype, but her storyline was weak so it let people down. (Also, her announcement as a replacement for Kitana was very late, which did piss off some people yes).

I think most people's 'beef' with Tanya is her tired story. She was a traitor in MK4, and worked for Shinnok to basically gain power and stay alive. Then in MKD they brought her back with the Exact same story, only this time with Onaga in place of Shinnok. Fair enough, Tanya is a traitor we know that. But her quest for power has been done to death by the likes of Kano. It gets boring very easily. Most characters story progress more than that between appearances.

Others also have some weird thing about her Yellow costume. Actually, I love yellow, and love Tanya's costume. She just looks a bit dumb in MKD with that stupid hair and.......why all of a sudden does she have no coloured part to her eyes?

IF (and I think its a very big if) Tanya were to return her story needs to be more meaty. Perhaps she and Jade could have a mini story of their own, and allow them to interact with others in the MK world rather than just Sindel/Kitana and whichc ever bad guy happens to be around.

Although this is Tanya's return since MK4/MKG, but if you look at characters like Ermac who was in UMK3/MKT, his storyline progressed into something more while Tanya's storyline was basically the same except now she's kissing Onaga's scaly ass.

yeah that would fall out realy good but how bout this. Since we all know that Onaga took over Reptiles body right. Lets have (Since the King is dead kinda) Reptile take over the king so then Tanya would be a servent of Reptile makeing her a sub boss. So you beat her down then on to Reptile. Once you beat him the real Dragon King is out of Reptile and is going to go into Tanya but some how she reverse the whole thing and the King is in her instead giveing her the power she needs to live so lets have jsut her as a sub boss. Reptile as the Boss. And the "Dragon Queen Tanya" as the BOSS

Tanya a boss? HAH! thats a good one. sorry, but just think about it, you have the bosses from the past games, Shang Tsung, Goro, Shinnok, Shao Khan, Motaro, Quan Chi, and Onaga. and then you have Tanya. If there is a female that should be a boss, it could be Sindel, but since she's good now, shes not good enough either. Maybe in MK3 as a sub-sub-boss

If any of the current females were to become bosses/sub bosses, I'd say Nitara, Khameleon, Kitana and Sindel were the most likely. Although Kitana and Sindel are good, they ahve ben evil in the past, and u newver know. Plus they both rule a realm, perjaps circumstances could force them to be 'evil'. Nitara's vampire people could also become a threat. Khameleon, well we can only wonder. She has a lot fo potential and being a Raptor could be used by Onaga if he is to return. (Sheeva is a shokan but seems to be hated generally, so very slim chance).

Dont get me wrong, none of these four has much of a chance of being a boos/sub boss.....but they have the best chance of present females IMO.
