I think they should drop all and start fresh with the next gen. Then after a couple of New MK's have a all star cast again. But they should always keep the new create fighter section now that they have it.

I have changed my mind. The only characters I want back are Kenshi and Li Mei.

I either want Tanya or Jarek, that's it.

I won't mind if they keep the following:
Scorpion
Sub-Zero
Mileena
Li Mei
Kenshi
Kira
Fujin
Ermac
Nitara
Sareena
Havik
Kitana

Its the carrying the story. If they have all new characters the story just won't go on, well plausibly anyway. Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Sonya have been confirmed for future games anyway. I'm sure they'll keep a few others too.

*sigh* Has anyone thought that if they got rid of all the existing MK characters then the game wouldn't be Mortal Kombat? It might have the name but it wouldn't be the same. I can understand getting rid of most of the characters and I hate to be the one(s) deciding who to do away with and who the keep but at least a few of the existing characters have to stay.

No way. I hope they keep most of the old characters. Unless of course they don't make the new ones as crappy as they did in DA and D.
