i think the main good character should be Kung Lao. The reasons why are that he was supposed to be the huge hero in MKD; Shujinko, unfortuantely took that role. He got screwed over. Also, he's always been in the shadow of Liu Kang, he needs to take the limelight.

I think the main bad character should be Raiden; the reasons why for that are that he needs a huge change story wise.MKd provided that. Also, his light Raiden costume looks cool, but it gets boring.

That's what i think.

Shinnok should be sub-boss due to Raiden's Bio. Like have those two be the alliance.

I see Raiden as being the big evil boss, Zombie Liu Kang as being his "minion" sub-boss and Fujin and Lao being the main characters.

The main hero for me is kenshi,he's perfect!
oh and BTW as far i can see if kenshi will not survive Johnny Cage will have this role.

Kenshi is a copy of Ermac, I don't like him and I think he should die.

Johnny is not a serious hero and he look like a GAY, they must change that and bring him back the 'Ball Breaker'.

Couldn't agree there anymore except for the part of hating Kenshi. I actually think Kung Lao and Kenshi should be the "Heroes". And Raiden, Liu Kang, And Shinnok be the Main Bad Guys.

But I hope it'll be a new character. Since it has been said almost no one returns, please let a new MAIN guy (or girl, I don't care) take that place.

Idk... Look, Kung Lao was (kinda) the hero for Deadly Alliance... Did he come back for Deception? No, Look At Shujinko. How long did he stay as the "Man"?Not that long. They might have Taven as a playable character but that is all. (Unless Rain does infact kill him and Daegon)

Yeah, i think Ermac would be cool as the new "Hero". He was really awesome in MKD. I don't think they showed him off enough in MKA. And i think the new boss should be Sektor or Noob Saibot. Or maybe even Shinnok.

I see Taven returning, if they're to give him such a storyline of incredible importance that it completely ends the current story-arch then it'd be stupid to not have him come back.

What I'd like to see though is a completely new hero among a completely new cast.

I agree with Shinnok.Kung Lao was always Liu's shadow.I think he should play the next Big role in MK8.

I think it'll be either Taven or a new character.

Shinnok, Raiden and Liu Kang to be the bosses.

The main heroes to be Kung Lao, Kitana, maybe Johnny Cage. I guess you could have Ermac and Kenshi help in some way too. All other characters to do their own thing. *Prays Scorpion has no revenge storyline for the 12453th time*

Either a new hero that isn't lame or finally one of the central female characters. Kitana or Sindel.

I think someone completely new should carry on the big role in MK8. It will show the transition from the old generation to new generation. This could also give MK a new "clean slate" feel which is strongly needed, imo. A new story line, new main character, I'd actually love for that to happen.

But if there was a person from the old generations who should carry on the big role is the Wind God Fujin. He will be the "raiden" of the next generation, while Raiden himself would become the "enemy." I'd find a clash between these two gods would be intriguing. But that's just me.

Other characters I believe who have a "chance" of being the lead person if they are in the next gen:
-Kitana
-Ermac
-Sub Zero
-Kung Lao

Basically those who seemingly have a "leadership quality" to them.

I say Jim Raynor or Fenix.
