So after failing to find local and smaller tournaments around my area in Southern California for MKX, I decided to go big. I have nothing to lose and it will be one EPIC experience.

My best friend and I said, screw it, let's hit VEGAS this July for Evo 2015.

Is anyone else going?!

Question to any EVO veterans on here:

EVO banned wireless controllers from the tournament. Where the hell can I find a wired controller for the PS4?

(I had posted this earlier, not sure where the post went, it banished)

Wish I could. It would be nice if they had an East Coast Evo.

Somewhat on topic though, does anyone else get the feeling that brutalities were pretty much designed for the Evo crowd ?

Considering fatalities were mostly skipped over because they took too much time, and the new brutalities are essentially combos that end in a meter burned special / throw / xray , I think it's mechanics were very much made with tournement play in mind.

I agree! Brutalities are an epic way to end a combo and make the crowd explode.
