i think Raiden,Scorpion, and Shao Kahn will return

this is just a guess but a bunch of new people

I think there will be very few of our faves back in MK8 (If there is going to be one). I personally think Raiden, another generation who is the heir of the Kung Lao heritage, Scorpion (I highly doubt it though), Kahn, the One Being and descendents of other kombatants (Ex.- the next descendent of Sub Zero).

I brought this up in another thread already - the child of Mavado and Kira.

I'm guessing throughout the course of MK8 and MK9, we'll likely see these faces:

Raiden - the name says it all.
Kabal - Black Dragon needs a leader and Kano will probably bite it.
Kenshi - I highly doubt Tsung will die and I doubt he'll get his revenge yet.
Sonya Blade - For the Outworld Investigation Agency.
Jax - He's always by Sonya's side.
Kung Lao - The Shaolin need a fighter.
Kitana - This Princess will never stay dead, EVER!!
Sub-Zero - Duh.
Scorpion - Duh, again.
Shao Kahn - This bad-ass mofo should come back with a vengence.
