I seem to think Eb Boon doesnt kill of characters like that. They all seem to make a come back sooner or later.

ONe of the selectable classic characters from MKD will be killed off permanently. I think it's either Baraka or Mileena, but Sub-Zero seemingly has a good chance also.

My precognition would be Baraka. Barakas fanbase is not that large, and he hasn't adwanced in any manner. Plus: Mileena has several endings that lead us to the conclusion that she survives as the impostor Kitana.

Sub-Zero dies in Hotaru's, Noob - Smoke's, Li Mei's ending. This means something. I can picture Hotaru capturing him, but that would mean the death of Kenshi, what is highly improbable.

Baraka is a candidate who would rather die, simply becouse Mileena has adwanced in many ways in MKD, and of course, and what strikes me as weird, but velcomed- this time they said that the character dies permanent-ly. Good choice anyway.

Whether we like him or not, I cannot see Sub Zero dying. He, Raiden and (unfortunately) Scorpion are MK icons, trademark characters of the series. I beleive Boon said somewhere else that these three will always be part of MK.

As for an MK veteran dying permanently, it's hard to see this happening when you take into account all the ressurections and retcons. Baraka would seem the most likely candidate to die or not return now, but his fanbase is still big enough to secure him a return in the future sometime. Death it would seem, is only final for characters bottom of the MK food chain like Jarek, and even that can't be guaranteed 100%.

If I had to choose which character that would not return in any future Mortal Kombat game, I would have to say Baraka aswell. Mileena and Baraka seem to be the two most obvious characters that seem to not return.

If Baraka would to die then no other character exept for Mileena would know that she is an imposter of Kitana. I like this new twist in the story because it involves Edenia, also the word Deception really plays a role in Mileena's story.

A character that I think would make a nice return would be Fujin, since Raiden has changed and has adapted a more brutal way of thinking, Earth is going to stand out as a bigger target. With Raiden like this, Fujin could return and his involvement in the story could work in a number of ways.

Fujin could be on the Elder Gods side and he is assigned the task of eliminating the threat in Raiden at any cost. Knowing that Raiden is his brother, the task may be hard for Fujin and he must decide what to do.

Scorpion may also be a potential enemy of both Fujin and Raiden. Fujin may not be under orders of the Elder Gods, but he still has a duty to protect Earth. Knowing that Raiden is different, Fujin would seek out his brother who is a target to the Elder Gods. Fujin would want to warn Raiden of the dangers to come, and that danger my be in Scorpion who is now the Elder God's champion.

I would find that ironic to Scorpion because it would show that even in the afterlife Scorpion has not changed his old ways. Working as an assasin for the Elder Gods. Scorpion would be a Neutral character still but he is supported by the most powerful force in Mortal Kombat.

i love all the new mks, especailly MKmonks, but i hate how complicated Deception has made it. i say screw all the new charicters and go back to the main ones from like MK2 that was the best game in my opinion!!!!!

all this complicated crap just makes it worse, i want the game back the way it was not all this charicters dieing one game, and "magically" returning the next its super lame.... ive been playing this game since i was knee high to a grass hopper and i say, BRING IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!!!

Cage will make a return after his supremo performance in MK:SM. Easily the best character in MK:SM.

I want Kobra and Hotaru Get the boot replaced by Sektor, and Cyrax

I don't think a character can be "replaced by another character" if that was to happen then the replacement would have a similar role and moves. The only "replacements" I can think of are Kira and Shujinko, cause of their moves, and not many ppl like those two anyway.

And I also hate how some ppl say that certain characters will die but not give a full reason why. (Unless if you have to list every character). 99.9% of these ppl point to the poor Seidan Guard.

If Kobra and Hotaru were replaced by Cyrax and Sektor, then how? Does Sektor join the Black Dragon and attack Orderealm, which is being defended by Cyrax, who then goes to Outworld to join Onaga? Sounds ridiculous to me.
