I dont usually look over here...but man. Some of the stuff I have read has been totally absurd.

1. People thinking fatalites need to go
2. People thinking there needs to be Count Dracula as a character
3. People thinking that there should be a heroin addict character
4. People thinking that more cyborg would be good for the series
5. People who somehow thing that MK is some sort of goth fest
6. People more concerned about the lighting of future games rather than the actual gameplay. 7. people thinking that the game should go 2D again. 8. people who think that

Is everyone here smoking pot r something...if the people here are EVER to be taken seriously by the game developers or by the people who are good at MK...you guys need to use your head. You wouldnt hear such non-sense from Tekken, VF, or DOA fans....and that is why they have a better game. please use that thing right above your shoulders called a brain. On a good not....that post about the good/evil konquest mode was a pretty good idea....keep those coming...it was well thought out ... and people built on the idea

why should it be locked. This a very valid point I am making. Anyone who can read an understand MK can clearly see that this forum is going to the idiots...too bad seriously when i read this crap....i wonder if the people who write this crap actually play the game or do they just play with MK action figures or do they play a D&D version with MK characters. Because clearly they have little to no sense of the gaming history of MK. I only pray that Boon sees these people as the miniority of MK fans and doesnt make a 2-D game with Dracula, Frankenstein, the Terminator, Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle and a heroin addict straight from rehad. wearing goth eye liner as characters. While the Cure's soundtrack sets a dark mood. Where the gameplay consists of mashing one button until one person bleeds black. And instead of fatatlies they give each other a homoerotic kiss. Wow...Boon listens to this forum this is what MK8 is going to be like.....wow CANT WAIT

You're blindly assuming that the MK team listens to everything that the fanbase mentions and follows through with the demands - and we all know that to be false.

The quality of the game has nothing to do with the fanbase. The makers of the following titles that you mentioned do not give a single damn what you personally want in their titles. They care about their fanbase as a whole. They also care about sensible suggestions. Most of the things mentioned on this section of the forum will be tossed to the wind and forgotten. Ed Boon has already announced his vision of MK8, and most of it doesn't follow what everyone else wants(ie Gears of War is not 2D).

In closing, if fourteen members here want the game to have drug addicted characters and 2D fighting again, rest assured that it won't happen. If the entire fanbase wants it, then it may be considered, but it'll stop probably be thrown out.

this is true wat goes on the game based on wat fans want is in a majority rule. and even then if the most of the ppl on the forum want a pot head or dracula (wtf) and the makers dont want they wont put it in
