What would you like to see done to the ranking system?

I know some people don't care about rank, but for the people who do and like the feeling of achievement. What would you like to see done with the ranking system on upcoming Mortal Kombat games?

I would like to see a detailed grading system, maybe sorta like dead or alive or I will just settle for one that works.

I remeber When I bought Killer Instinct gold for the N64. lol Actually I still have it. and I liked there ranking system. I think it was set up like this
Overall Wins
Highest Combo
Highest Combo with a Character
and a couple other I dont really remember I should Hook it up and look
