What would you do if sub-zero and scorpion were gone?

Exactly what i said would you stay or would you go. Does your money lie in the characters and storyline or the enterprising kombat system. Would you go to other games or would you stick it out and enjoy the mind blowing brutality found only in mortal kombat?

Lemme put it this way:

I would definitely buy MK8 if Scorpion and Sub-Zero were the only returning characters like Boon implied.

I MIGHT still buy MK8 if some characters returned, but Scorp and Subbie weren't among them.

And I definitely would NOT buy MK8 if EVERY single character was new and had nothing to do with the original franchise.

How could you even ask that question!!!! For Sub-Zero, he's a fan favorite and as Ed Boon already implied, he WILL return for future Mortal Kombat games. As for Scorpion, he can't die (as he already is) or "go away", because he is Ed Boon's favorite character (that practically saves him right there).

As whadad siad i too believe the characters are overrated. And for the people that would quit a fantastic game entirely over 2 characters gon tah dah buh bye, what makes losing them ruin the game for you?even though to my pbvious dipleasure they are not going anywhere.....

Well, that took a while. Sub and Scorp may be saved, but they are ovverated.

id go to ed boon and lock him in a freezer til he gets cold to make him remember subzero then throw him in a fire to make him remember scorpion they both drew me into mortal kombat they were the two most distinct charcters of mk throughout the whole storyline

Despite everyone saying they are overated, the ninjas are the most dominant character in the franchize. They appear in more games the the proclamed "champion" lou kang. With out them mortal kombat would be missing its base, its structure, the very thing that connected each game together.

As to say would i buy MK8 if they were not appear, I have to say yes. Despite the fact that scorpion would not be in it (favorite character) i would still be a fan because as stated before, Mortal Kombat has a certain brutatlity that can't be found elsewhere and because of this i will always be a fan.

maybe they'll finaly put Liu Kang's brother in the games
besides look at all the characters that have died and come back

also add characters from Mythologies, Special Forces, movies, comic books, and characters that were deleted from final versions of each game

if they were gone in the next game and there was still a KAK option, i wood just go in and create them myself. (assuming the powers and costumes are accessible)
