what does it matter? None of it will meaning anything or have any impact or significance...

if any one dies, they will be back, if anyone lives they may come back....but the trilogy cast will always be back...mk is gunna get stale reallllll soon

My predictions for the ending

- Quan Chi gets killed by Sub-Zero and Scorpion
- Sub and Scorps are not foes, NOW they're mutually respecting "bros"
- Takeda and Cassie reconcile with Kenshi and Sonya
- Johnny Cage gets nearly killed by Shinnok
- Raiden dies at the hands of Shinnok
- Jax retires and STAYS retired
- Some of the Kotal Rangers are alive
- Reiko is the final boss and a Blood God
- Liu Kang becomes spontaneously the Fire God to fight and destroy Shinnok for good after Raiden dies
- Havik gets betrayed by Reiko, Reiko gets betrayed by Tanya
- Reiko gets defeated by all the good guys
- Liu Kang and Kitana finally get their moments
- Liu decides to move to Edenia with Kitana after it's been freed from Outworld
- Sindel dies and Kitana becomes Queen
- Shang Tsung is alive and has been in hiding from Mileena sympathizers
- Noob Saibot is alive and is making a Deadly Alliance with Tanya in the Netherrealm
- Taven reawakens from his slumber
- Meanwhile in Outworld rumors of the Dragon King rising are rampant even of an imposter claiming to fulfill the prophecy

I honestly can't think of anything more specific, since each new story trailer throws me through a loop...I'm actually rather excited.

The ending scene is atop the sky temple.

Cassie, Kung Jin, Takeda, and Jaqui are standing together. Raiden teleports down onto the roof. Takeda asks "You knew this would be the outcome all along didn't you?" Raiden says "I had no idea" They all laugh and walk past Reikos body and down the sky temple stairs.

After they're gone Havik walks over to Reikos body and picks up his war hammer. Noob Sibot appears next to Havik. Havik says "Your plan worked to perfection Noob Sibot." Noob says "Reiko was blinded by lust. How foolish he was to think that the elder gods would allow him to become a blood god." Havik turns Noob and says. "But the thunder god still lives." Noob turns and says " No matter. Neither Earthrealm or Outworld can survive the Brotherhood's onslaught."

I just don't want too many parents or any of Team Cassie dying. Hopefully
Ermac, Cyrax, and Sindel (if still alive after being freed from Quan Chi) can completely join the good side even though Kitana should stay queen.

I can imagine.....

- Shao Kahn's soul out of Ermac and Kitana's father King Jerrod takes over
- All of the remaining revenant souls are free from Quan Chi's influence and live again
- Raiden dies by Liu Kang's hands
- Liu Kang feels that there is no place in Earthrealm anymore. Kitana offers him a place at her side in freeing Edenia (this time)
- Shujinko is in his prison cell in Seido
