After MK:Armageddon i was thinking of what the Next Gen Mortal Kombat series could be about.


Mortal Kombat Next Gen Storyline:

Decades after the Armageddon battle Rayden, the god of thunder, was still guarding of Earthrealm and all Earths warriors had past on to live peacefully in the heavens and all the evil beings where banished to the Netherrealm for all eternity. Scorpion was offered the position as guardian of the Netherealm by the gods after the big part he played in stopping Onaga and the resurrection of the One Being. He was given new god powers and was announced god of fire. No one never knew what happen to the Kamidogu after they was stolen from Onaga which was the key to victory. Kitana and Rain rulers of Edenia have been searching for them ever since and Rayden has also been searching for them too with help of a couple of shaolin monks, the decendents of Lui Kang and Kung Lao. If these sacrade artifacts were to be found and got into the wrong hands things could be bad.

This whole time the Artifical Cybernetic being known as Secktor was the one who had stolen the Kamidogu and he had been using his CPU to study and understand the power of the Kamidogu. It took him decades but now he has found out how to tap into their power and he has created a Robotic civilization deep under Earth called the Underground. Thousands of Cybernetic beings ready to declare war on their enemies... the mortals!

With out warning Cybernetic beings flood parts of the Earth slaughtering as many humans as possible. Rayden had been caught by surprise of this attack but manages to destroy a few of the Cyborgs but their too large in number so he calls on the help of the decendents of Lui Kang and Kung Lao, the god of fire Scorpion from the Netherealm, and Fujin.

Lord Sektor watches as his Cyborgs are fleeing back to the Underground and reporting that the mortals are too strong. Sektor needed some elites to lead his cyber army to victory so with the power of the Kamidogu he is able to walk threw realms so he can steal a few souls. He steal some souls from the Netherealm since the god of fire was distracted. He steals the souls of Shao Kahn, once a great and powerful Emperor:; Baraka, once a great general; and he took a couple of Oni with him just for the heck of it. He also captures Rain from Edenia. Sektor robotnizies Shao Kahn, Baraka and Rain then sends them and the Oni out to destroy Earths warriors and the entire human race.

The fight to save Earthrealm has begun again after decades of peace. Let Mortal Kombat begin again.
