None; let's let the original cast get their last bits of spotlight in before bringing in anyone new (although Taven and Daegon are playable, I'd have not wanted them in the game to begin with).

Even though it would be a bit weird not having some of the series' staple characters, I want an entirely new cast for the next games. Ed said he wanted to wipe the slate clean, and I certainly hope he delivers.

I moved this because MK: Armageddon's character roster is already a confirmed entity, therefore there's no point asking for more characters in that game.

How about a renegade Shadow Priest? That would be pretty cool, haha.

The hero should be (just an idea) a Tibetan budhist monk who has left his temple to spread the budhist way of life. On his journies he meets someone determined to get to a martial arts tournament. He travels with the someone and repeatedly attempts to convert him/her to buddhism. Their adventures on the way to the tournament would be like konquest mode. Slowly they begin to suspect that there may be more to this coming tournament then they originally suspected.....

Konquest mode would end when a Raiden type character (god guardian of earthrealm) would show up and explain to the monk and his companion the importance of Mortal Kombat and that he is gathering fighters to defend the realm. The god guardian would then enter them into the tournament to become MK champion and savior of earthrealm.....


I tried to stay close to a MKish story while still being original.

I want them to turn Skarlett into a real character and have her as maybe one of Shao Kahn's assasins who was abandoned in battle by Jade, Mileena, and Kitana and has stalked the netherealm ever since in search of a way to get out and get revenge.(I know the revenge storylines are getting old but this is a fighting game and more importantly this is mortal kombat what do you expect)

i think that a few of the characters should remain...somewhat newer ones like Nitara,onaga,shujinko,sareena,kira...ect.
they should get rid of the classics like liu kang,jax,sonya,scorpion,sub-zero,kano an so on.
if any of the classics had to remain,it should be just to clean up the story line. as for newly created,i would like to see a red dragon mutant as a playable char,a vampire hunter type character,a demon char,an earthrealm super hero type char,Maybe a new robot ninja and if they do deside to keep some classics...maybe make them cyborgs,vampires,werewolves,or something cool to make the story interesting.
