I'm not sure if this have been post already. Forgive me if it already have. But have you guys ever thought of the possibiity of no more new MK Games, just DLC hereonafter? Financially, this can save NRS money from having to produce the disks for the games, just upload new materials, So far we have seen only characters as DLC, but can we see more storyline mode? Storymode picking up from from MK9 going forward, including the War with Shinnok, the Deadly Alliance, etc. That way, the entire MK series can be under the title of Mortal Kombat, instead of having to be name MK 2, a subname like Deception or whatever they decide to call next MK game. The only question is will die hard fans, willing to put up with just downloading new materials, instead of buying a whole new game? The concept is revolutionary. Usually, most games series, would want their fans to buy a whole complete new game for new contents, but what if the fans can just buy the upgrades without having to buy a whole new disk? What do you all think?

The Story Mode ending suggests ALOT for a sequal. I doubt they won't make a next MK. Too many people love the series. Don't just take all the shit people on this forum say, there are MANY more fans who are NOT on this forum who are fans of the MK series and want another game to come.

One of my favorite things in the series is the storyline. One of the benefit that comes with a new game release is for fans to see how the previous game story played out. What I am suggesting, however, if we can just download the next set of storylines. We can have the same result. As I have mentioned, this can be cheaper for NRS to do, which in turn can be cheaper us fans. We don't have to buy a physical new CD to just get new content, we can just download the new content directly. Just thinking of creative ways, we fans, can save money. I don't mind taking out $60 to buy a whole new game, but just a thought.

It may be cheaper to do, it may not, but the revenue generated by a storyline expansion DLC wouldn't be nearly as much as a full retail release. I'm pretty confident we will see another MK game in another 2-3 years or so, most likely on this generation of consoles as well.

DLC is the biggest load of fucking bullshit in the history of video games. So no, I would not approve at all.

If that were to happen, I'd drive up to Chicago and lay the smackdown on NRS and co.

However, if memory serves me right, I remember either Hector, Hans, or Ed saying that as long as people keep buying the games, they'll keep making them.

Never going to happen. I mean christ - People say that EA should do that with the sports games. But they dont because as other people say: More money with the retail release.

It would suck. Mortal Kombat is the best game out there to date. I am sure there will be a MK10, MK11 and etc. If not it would piss off alot of people including myself.

I'd go down to NRS and hold them all hostage at gunpoint if that happened! *Loading Pistol* furious

The ending of Story Mode HEAVILY IMPLIES there's going to be a sequel

Mortal Kombat is too bad ass of a game to just end it. I can see them going up to MK20 but thats just me.
