Hi gang, so we are mostly aware of the Dlc with 4 characters and 15 skins, but if I were a part of the marketing team at Netherealm and wanted to take all of your money with you all willingly giving it to me with big grins on your face this is what I would do.

The DLC would be in conjunction with the online faction modes. Let's say each after the release depending on what faction is doing well or not content is released that adds new characters and costumes relative to that faction.

For example if let's say the special forces have won the faction war for the month and did so consecutively then a dlc will be put on the market that gives you characters like Cyrax and Styker if Kenshi isn't available to boot and features special costumes for characters like Cassie, and if these characters are available from the get go Sonya, Jax, and Johnny Cage.

This would be unique because it would be the first time in gaming history where collectively a community of gamers work together to unlock extra content. This would increase player retainability and encourage people to balance out and join all the different factions, plus add in a huge incentive for people to be competitive with each other.

For the Lin Kuei you would unlock characters such as Frost and Smoke and the extra costumes would be available for all the ninja characters.

The Black Dragon would unlock Kabal and Havik (who guided the new black dragon in deception) and give outfits for outfits there would be a special mercenary skin package released for characters such as Terra Forr, and other characters of that nature.

White lotus would feature Kai and Fujin and would give extra outfits for Kung Lao, Raiden, Liu Kang and so forth.

And the brotherhood Dlc would be an homage to mythologies and give us characters such as Noob Saibot and Sareena.
